Hi Sodapop and welcome!!! The stars signify how many reviews a person has done. You get your first star at five reviews, and the more reviews you do, the more stars you get. Do enough reviews, and you get different colored stars. Also, keep in mind that you should do at least two reviews before posting one.

This is the perfect forum for writers, as you can see, and I'm very glad you found us!
Check out the rules and the FAQ before you post your work, and when you do, try to keep it at a 2:1 ratio with your reviews - er, that is... try to do two reviews per piece of work you post:) meh.

So what kind of stuff have you been 'writing for forever'? :D I'd love to review some of your work, so if you want a crit go ahead and PM me! Seriously. And of course if you have any questions, I'm always around:)
