just some things I did over the summer...
1. "I am dead to them, even though I once flowered" - Sylvia Plath (Yeah... I know the eyes are too big.)
2.Winter Secrets
3."Such Great Heights" (A song by postal service... and I did this in pen so some parts are messy)
4. Don't (I am VERY aware about how the shoulder is too small)
5.Nowhere/Now Here
6.Connections

SORRY SOME ARE STILL TOO BIG

"I am still so naive;
I know pretty much what I like and dislike;
But please, don't ask me who I am. A passionate, fragmentary girl, maybe?

I'm not going to give these an actual critique, because they're incredible as they are, and I feel nitpicking would just ruin the creative intent...

These are absolutely incredible. They all have a very vintage feel to them; I'm guessing it's partly because of the paper you used, but also because of the bland colors and sketchy strokes. Also, the newspaper clippings are a great touch.

For 'Don't', I personally think the small shoulder works. The hand is wholesome and beautifully drawn, but the shoulder has a very fragile look to it--whether this was intentional or not, it gives a definite feeling to the drawing.

Honestly, they are also a bit chilling--but in that good way that only abstract can deliver.

Keep up the good work.
I aim to misbehave.

Aww, these sketches are so lovely. I loved them all..they are random, crazy, meaningful and with great titles.
Sketch #1: Yeah, the eyes may need to be redrawn a little bit smaller, but overall, I loved the colours and the quote.

Sketch #2: That one is favourite. I like the pieces of paper scattered all around the sketch. I suggest adding something to the background on the left side for it is quite empty, like snowflakes or snowballs.

Sketch #3: Good but too messy, may be because you've used pen too much in the background. I don't know if it was intentional to make it a messy background, may be paint or pencil would have been better to use for the background.
I also like the last two, simple yet beautiful.

I'd love to see more of your sketches. They all look great and show that you're a talented artist. :D

Oh my gosh. The talent in these. -holds breath- Absolutely amazing. In relation to 'Don't' I love the hand and shoulder. It . . . makes me ponder the relationship behind it and I can feel emotion from it.

Hades, I can feel emotion from all of them--which I think proves they're good art. (Everyone has their own definition, but, yeah--anything that invokes emotion, makes one think, etc. and you pulled both off.)

Otherwise, I can't think of much to critique that wouldn't be just me trying to replace your style with mine. Basically, I love them. They're very beautiful.

(Also, you used a Postal Service song. Ten points for Gryffindor.)

Keep drawing,
