It was not everyday that a movie star like AK came to a small town like Guwahati. The whole town was going crazy about him, posters of him were put up everywhere, people were discussing his earlier movies, and gossips of link ups with his new actress were also doing the rounds. But I and Vikram had decided that no matter what, we wanted his autograph and we were determined to get it.
“AK! AK!” the crowd at the airport was huge; Vikram and I were also there. There was heavy security. With two security guards on his sides, the prince of Bollywood waved to the crowd, as they cheered his name again and again. As Vikram and I tried to jump over the security cordon, a tough and an angry security guard caught us and threw us out of the airport!
One of our classmates had seen what had happened at the airport and now almost the whole school knew about it. “Here comes our heroes who got AK’s autograph!” and the whole class burst out laughing. I said to Vikram, “Don’t get angry, today the film crew will be shooting in the Park and I know a shortcut to enter it. Nobody will even catch us!”
My shortcut actually was a fallen tree, which we had to climb. “You sure we are doing this? This tree looks haunted”. “Come on Vikram! We can do it”. As we climbed the tree, we could see AK sitting under an umbrella, smoking a cigarette and the director was explaining the scenes to him. “Hey there he is!” I shouted! “Where? Where?” in his excitement Vikram came forward and pushed me and both of us fell into a muddy puddle! So this time also our plan flopped!
“Pizza Sir!” Vikram and I dressed as pizza boys tried our last attempt at getting AK’s autograph. The security guard outside the hotel stopped us, “I don’t think sir ordered any pizzas”. “Of course he did! And he asked us not to be late; you wouldn’t want your boss to be angry would you?” Grudgingly he let us in. “509, 509, there is it!” We rang the bell and when he came out we both put up our best smiling faces and said “Autograph please!” “Get out of here before I call the security”, saying this he slammed the door on our face. We were both disappointed and angry. As we were going back cursing AK, someone called out to us. It was Deepika, the new actress who was also to star in the movie! “I just saw what happened, please don’t be sad, he just had a fight with the director and is not in a good mood, come, let’s take a picture of the three of us”. We just didn’t know what to say for the next few seconds and stood still, we were just too excited to say anything!
Next day after we uploaded the picture on our Facebook profile, it was flooded with comments. Everyone in school kept asking us about the incident (we exaggerated a little while narrating the incident) and we had the last laugh!

Hi there! Welcome to YWS!

But I and Vikram and I had decided that no matter what, we wanted his autograph and we were determined to get it.

Just a small grammer mistake, but it should be Vikram and I , not I and Vikram.

I was laughing by the end of this! Too funny! Oh, I hope you really meant it to be funny. :) You did a good job really portraying the crazed fans. I first read your description and I thought it was really cool. Reading this, it did not disappoint. I was drawn into it and I was wondering if they would ever get the guys autograph. The end was definitely not what I expected, but at least they got a good picture, right?

Overall this is a good piece. Keep writing!

Alrighty. Let's get reviewin'.

What we have here is a great idea, well-written on the whole with a few scattered errors. Now, as this is the most foreboding error, some sentences were just very bland. You can tell that during writing this you had a basic timeline of events with a predestined outcome already mapped out in your head, and this can be very dangerous. Writers tend to just move the action along without thinking about the story's meaning (and they should all have meaning):"One of our classmates had seen what had happened at the airport and now almost the whole school knew about it." I would have drawn this sentence out into a few statements, not as filler, but because showing something is ALWAYS better than telling. You simply stated a fact here, helped the progression, but you could have shown it in a different way; perhaps they go into school the next day and sit down, not expecting a thing, and suddenly one of the classmates shouts "Oh no, it's airport security's most wanted!" or something silly like that.
The only other weak area that stuck out to me was that you refer to the security guard as "mean and tough". These words are both extremely bland and there are countless words that could sum up both these qualities at once. Combative, brawny, and callous are just a few, and probably not even the best examples. It's up to you to make these descriptions as interesting as possible!
Your writing style is definitely taking it's shape, and that is evident here. In your idea, and the way you present it (for the most part) you show a lot of potential and as previously stated, the entire situation at the end made me laugh. Good job and keep writing!

Sorry but I had to think this was a really bland piece of work. The title and the story itself. There are already so many stories like yours already so it's like reading more of the same it won't grab a readers attention at all. I'm sure you have better pieces than this and will make better than this but this one sorry does nothing for me as a reader.
