Okay so I know this chapter was disappointing, but I have good news. I just wrote the whole plot, so I promise you, the next chapters will finally make sense! hopefully.

To get to the library, you had to go through a maze until you find the door. Enoch set it up that way so that only the ones he chose could find their way through. The ones he did not would find themselves trapped in thousands of dead ends.
I heard that someone had killed themselves out of insanity because they couldn’t find their way out of here.
It was still a mystery of how Azrael got through.
The library was an endless array of tall shelves, each shelf filled with old books. I had always been fascinated with the library. I wanted to sit here and read the enchanting stories of all those who came before me, but I knew I had a task at hand.
I walked down the tall staircases, glancing in each row for Azrael. I didn’t expect him to be in the very last one.
Azrael didn’t look up when I walked up to him. He flipped through the old book he had in his lap, a pen and a spiral notebook beside him.
“Good afternoon,” he said, his voice echoing throughout the vast room. He looked up at me, his green eyes looking very sinister. I didn’t mean for my facial expression to twist in slight disgust. “How is Vincent?”
“He is in the infirmary.” I answered, my voice levelled.
Azrael smiled. “Shame. I was hoping that you would tell me to get ready for a funeral.”
He looked back down to his book.
I didn’t react.
“I would have never expected you to be here,” I said and glared down at him. “I didn’t know you could read.” Azrael turned the page, unaffected by my words.
“You learn something new every day.”
“It seems you are learning stuff right now. Do you mind if I ask what?” Azrael slammed the book shut.
“Yes, I do mind. You shouldn’t stick your nose in other people’s business, Loki. You could get hurt.” he opened the bag beside him and started to shove some books in.
“It pains me to say that you are my brother. Your business is my business.” Azrael stood up with other books in his hand. He started to shove them in random spots on the shelves. I wanted to stab him. Enoch spent a millennium keeping the books in order.
“Even family members have secrets. Besides, you and I both know I’m not really a Ravenwood.”
“Legally, you are.” he glanced at me.
“But mentally, I’m not.” I rolled my shoulders. Eira was right. He was planning something. Maybe not just against me. Could it be against the Ravenwoods also?
“You do not possess a stable mind, Azrael. You are a Ravenwood and will be from now until further notice. Whatever you do to us will affect your name, also.” Azrael’s smile disappeared.
“Need I remind you that you were a Middleton?”
I fell silent.
A slow grin spread across his face.
“Do I disturb you, Loki?” He asked, coming closer. I unconsciously stepped back. Azrael laughed.
"You're lucky I'm being nice to you." My voice shook with anger. “If I was twice as nice, you would live to see your sixteenth birthday.” I turned away from him.
“Watch your back, Loki.” Azrael spoke up. “And tell Sirius to watch his, too.”
Spoiler
After the encounter with Azrael in the library, I went looking for Sirius. I hadn’t seen him all day, which was highly unusual.
I roamed the manor campus, keeping my senses on high alert. Sirius never left the manor premises. Unless he had business with someone outside the manor, which was even more unusual than him not waking me up in the morning. The thought of Sirius having another life that doesn’t involve the Ravenwoods kind of made me worry for the lives of others.
He was the one that showed me how to kill, anyway.
“...lied to me...”
I stopped in my tracks. Took a step back. I swore that was Sirius’s voice, coming from somewhere in the garden.
“...hesitate to kill you...” as I walked towards his voice the words came clearer.
“We made a deal, you bastard.” I stopped again. Any closer and he would know I was here. I crouched behind a fat rose bush, looking over the corner of it to see Sirius talking in a quiet but harsh tone to a boy. The boy looked about two years older than me with short, spiky hair and long fingernails. His sense of style was unusual.
The boy had his pale hands up as if for protection.
“Relax, magic boy. I said I would help you, but I didn’t say it was going to be easy.” Sirius looked mad. No, furious.
“You said that you’d find her. This is a piece of cake for someone with your power. Why is it taking so damn long? I thought you said she was alive.”
“Hey, I said she was probably alive. I don’t know for sure.”
The boy received a hot glare from Sirius.
“Cut me some slack, Sirius. I’m not tracking a mortal woman here. We’re talking about a wi—“
“Shut up, Amaymon.” Sirius hissed. “Someone’s listening.”
Took him long enough.
I stepped out of the rose bush, revealing myself. Sirius straightened when he saw me, but the boy, Amaymon, just looked surprise.
“Whoa, Sirius! He looks just like—“
“Amaymon, I think it’s time for you to leave.” All harshness was erased from Sirius’s voice. The boy lingered for a few second before stalking off. Sirius bowed.
“I apologize for not being at your aid today, master.” He said. I stared hard at him.
“I don’t know what secrets you’re hiding, but I won’t pester you about it.”
“Thank you, Master.” Sirius’s yellow eyes found mine. He wasn’t smiling, making him look darker than Azrael.
“And happy seventeenth birthday.”

Spoiler
In the last chapter, Azrael said Loki was sixteen. Sirius says he's seventeen. LOKI IS INDEED SEVENTEEN. Azrael just doesn't keep track of his age. If you have any other questions regarding any of the chapters, message me.

My only question is why is the rest of the chapter a spoiler. Is it suppose to be a spoiler or did you press spoiler by accident? But anyways, I like this chapter but I just want to know the whole point of this story? Are they trying to find a person? Does Loki possess some sort of power. You don't have to tell because I like the mystery but I think you need to foreshadow a little bit. Other than that, it's good. Keep writing.
