Hello

..Not that I have a problem with the intro posts, but mine are always so awkward.
I've come across this site due to the random story theme option, actually. Thank you Google.
I just felt like writing this morning. I've been writing since I was little, and enjoy it when inspiration comes. Of late I've been doing more drawing, to be honest, but I'd like to take a look around the site and possibly post if I'm happy with something I've written. The idea of getting proper critique appeals to me.
I think I'll read stories for now - and see how long they are on average. It seemed wrong of me to begin reviews without a post like this - so here I am.

As you may have guessed I can be long-winded, it's something I need to work on.
Maybe I'll do so here.

That's a good question that sholdn't have to be asked;
As a general rule I like reading fantasy and thrillers, I also like historical fiction here and there. Although I don't tend to read it - I just don't look for it- I do adore a good drama as well, thanks to school. Writing-wise my tastes are very much the same. I tend to role-play. and end up making characters for that. These are often put into stories of their own right (Though often times they're put into fanfiction). I think I'll check out the storybook rpgs very soon.
I keep seeing your name (along with Bubbles) everywhere, I'll have to check out your stuff.

The storybook rpgs are tons of fun and is definitely a great place to look. I like them because I often get bored with my own stories and its a good place to brush up on my writing. I think I'll go follow you, if you don't mind, that way when you start putting up works I will be able to take a look.

Anyway, haiii! I'm Heather and welcome to our fine establishment. There's an art section here as well so you're more than welcome to post any drawings you have. The responses will probably be less amature than those for writing but we do have a group of artists here as well so you might just find a few really helpful ones thrown in there!

Also, we have this thing called a 'Buddy System' which you might be interested in. Basically, it gives new members the opportunity to choose an older member as their mentor and that older member shows you around the site and answers any questions you have. Nice to meet you Heather, it seems a very fine place indeed. I'll have to check out the art section at some point, yes, it's the only place I have something to readily upload on this computer, I think.

Everyone seems to have already given you warm welcomes as well as advice, so I guess I'm just here to ask if you're liking the site so far? I sure hope you are. If you have any questions on anything, be sure to let me know. I'd be more than happy to help.

I'm a fan of Fantasy and Drama too, although I stray away from writing Fantasy because I definitely need some more practice in that department! I'd be interested in reading some of your stuff though, so if you do post something, feel free to ask me to take a look at it. It's great to hear that you're into role-playing too! The storybook forum on this site is really great, so I'm sure you'll fit in perfectly there.

Like Kitty said, you totally have to check out the art forums we have here. Although there are more writing experts around, there are some really great art critics around the place too. Like you're writing, I'd love to see some of that art of yours. I'm a big fan of both art and photography.

Anyway, I really hope you're having a great time so far! I hope everyone's being friendly too.

Aww, yes, everyone's been great here. I'm feeling at home on a site I've been on for less than a day, that must mean something. Thank you for asking, I'm really enjoying the site so far, and can't believe my luck in finding it.
Now I just have to try to write something worthy of it all :'D

Definitely I shall check out the art forums and the storybook rps(as soon as I've eaten <.<).
I'll have to upload something art-wise soon then (Though a large amount of it is fan art >.>''').
