Spoiler
This is a free-verse, so please not too much on the structure. Also, this is no exaggeration.

As I go to my bed I'm happy.
It's been a good day,
With it's downs, of course,
But overall just fine.

The radio is on, like always.
My favorite country song is playing,
It's keeping me more awake
I know,
But if I turn it off
I hear voices in the shadows.
I panic and cry.
Once I start I cannot stop.

One of Rowlings' Dementors
Is the monster under my bed.
I'm scared of it.
He reminds me of that something to worry about.
it starts a stressed chain of thought,
And once started cannot stop.

Pointlessly obsessing for hours,
I cry until I can't breathe.
Something always pushes me over the edge,
And once I start falling I cannot stop.
Shakespearian tongue-twister:

To sit in solemn silence
In a dark, dank dock
In a pestilential prison
With a lifelong lock;
Awaiting the sensation
Of a short, sharp shock
Of a cheap, chippy chopper
On a big black block.

Hi, overall this poem is not bad. Firstly, these corrections must be made;
"it starts a stressed chain of thought"- the 'i' there should be capitalized a 's' after thought to denote plurality of the word.
The poem is kind of confusing, at first thought, the reader thinks the thing once started and cannot stop is the writers fear of monsters, and then the last stanza talks of an obsession, maybe with the thought of monsters i do not know and falling-the last stanza did not just connect with the rest of the stanzas.
But you did a good Job.
'when I'm gone, my words will remain...
your word is a weapon, either of destruction or re-construction, whatever you make of it,
It's your choice.'
