Okay. So I took this picture a loooong time ago, not sure what camera I used. But I was in Washington and this was the view from the space needle. I LOVE THIS PICTURE. I didn't edit this at all. And I took the photo in black and white, so I can't change that at all. Sooo, tell me what you think =] Oh! and I would like to draw your attention to the mountain in the back left corner, I just noticed that, so I thought I'd tell you too =]

It makes me think of the old times when all photos were taken in black and white. Washington looks beautiful and flawless. The mountains at the back give the whole sight a finishing touch. I probably would have missed seeing them if you hadn't pointed it out. Anyway, the photo's awsome. It looks like it's taken by a professional photographer.
You can wish for death... but you can't wish it away
The black and white looks strange with the fore-light(can I call it that?). It does give it a very nice atmosphere though. All the tops of the buildings got blurred with the light behind them. It's the sky so I guess it's everywhere. I don't know if I've ever seen a photo that's supposed to be artsy outside in black and white! Generally black and white in art is in a darker environment, not an outside one. That makes it very old-timey... I can't say much more before I start rambling!

WOW! I love this picture, it makes me feel I am looking at those giant buildings from a window or something. I had much struggle trying to see that mountain you've mentioned, maybe because your photo is a little pale. I am not sure if using the black and white option was a good idea here in this photo. Usually the black and white effect is used for pictures that does need its colors (like nature, portraits, old-looking ancient objects or places) and only needs from the viewer to focus his eyes with some meditation on the subject of the photo. Still, it is a great photo and makes me wish to travel to Washington and see those stunning buildings in reality.
What I like about this picture, is that it gives a bird eye's view of the city, with a hint of mountain tops in the background. And how some of the buildings, reflect whats up in the sky, giving the viewr more than just a regular city. Ofcourse, with every thing there may be lots to love about, but always some dislikes.
The exposure of the picture is way too high! If you lwoer it some, it can give more of a clearer picture, and be able for the viewer to see my mountains in the background. Hey, maountains are very beautiful, and they look awesome in every picture. Even though you like this picture very much, and I like this picture, I would say it would possibly be better if it was in color. For me, Color can set a mood. Sad, mad, evil, normal, happy, etc. Such as a black and white movie, I just can't stand those. I want to know what color everything is so that it can look more 'Life-like' and set a mood. Such as if osmebody was sitting on a beach in a sunset. Well, if it was Black and White people would see the sunset, and people can inspire in the many colors in the awesome sky!
Thats just me, and you don't need to really listen to that. Also, with color you can add extremly cool efects and make the tone look more vibrant..And possibly vintage. If you had something in focus, such as a piece of flower with the city in the background, it would also be a really good picture than what it is allready!
So those are just some tips on other photograpghs in the future. I really hoped I help you! ^^
This is definitely my favorite pic of yours! It's beautiful! This is a perfect cityscape shot, everything looks so... measured? Like the buildings just look too perfect to be real lol and the perfect little squares of road. I really like it.

This really is quite a neat picture. Arial views always are. This is unique for the fact that it was taken yourself from the space needle in Washington. It looks like something you might find on Google image or something. You must've had a lot of fun whenever you went. This picture is amazing.
I suppose the only thing I didn't really like was the fact that it does look a bit washed out. This obviously has something to do with it not being edited, but I can see why you wouldn't want to edit it at all. I mean it's quite amazing just the way it is now. However, I made one slight tweak just to show you how much more vibrant this could still look despite it being in black in white had you gone and edited it in some way.

As you can see, the edited version is a lot sharper looking and the black and white tones are a lot more finely distinguishable, giving it a sort of vibrant look. And all I did was auto-fix it on Photobucket. x) I think you can do a lot of cool things with a shot like this despite it being black and white. Anyway, great shot though. Really!
