Spoiler
I kinda was really bored in an English lesson last year and scribbled this poem on my workbook cover. The teacher didn't mind, and now that schools over I have my poem! I don't know what to think of it so any feedback would be useful!

Words of wisdom
Words of love
Words of cunning
Words of death

Words of pain
Words of sadness
Words of distress
Words of need

Words of joy
Words of happiness
Words of goodness
Words of laughter

Words of planning
Words of the future
Words of the present
Words of the past

Words of cruelty
Words of poverty
Words of sickness
Words of hunger

That is what these pages hold
And forever they will stay
Until this book is opened
And read over once again
Trust in God and all else follows.

This poem is really good! I like the fact that you repeat "words" over and over again, it leaves an impact. Good job! Keep it up!

Hey Deanie,

I just got the feeling of reading a list... It had nice words, but not very poetic. And the only thing that I wanted to read was the last stanza which felt more like a paragraph from a book.

PM me or post on my wall if you have any questions!

I think it's a really interesting poem. I like the way you've written every para completely different from the previous one. And the last para really gives it a good finishing touch. Pretty good I'd say. :)

It's neat how each paragraph, although it looks similar to the last, is different in it's own way. One paragraph talks of happiness, while the other talks of the opposite. While interesting, it also strikes me as a lazy poem. It couldn't have taken terribly long. I'm also not sure if I like the repetitiveness of the whole thing. Anyways, good luck with future poems, cheers.
