So I didn't think this pic would turn out the way it did. I haven't drawn anything with this big-sleeved, kimono medevial thing before. If anyone knows what to call this style please tell me lol. I didn't think the colors would turn out well either, but I kinda like it. I'm glad I decided to do the blue background ^_^

So, I've reviewed/seen a couple of your pieces before and really liked them. I'm sad to say this isn't one of them.

First of all, the sleeves are much to big in proportion then her head. Also, although her head is really nice and delicate looking (which looks great billowy sleeves, by the way) one side of her face (her left side) looks much bigger than the other. Plus, her chin is a little too pointy and her mouth is too small and un-detailed looking. Although this is supposed to be a billowy shirt there is a strange bump near the bottom that makes her look almost pregnant. Her arms also seem to long to be real and her hands too big. The thing that really puts everything else out-of-proportion is that she doesn't have anything from the waist down, even though it seems she should.

I do like the colors though, actually. The green and yellow look kind of nice together

This is really pretty. A lot more colorful than the other one I just reviewed, but I tend to lean more toward black and white anyway. I think it just stands out really nicely. But this is pretty sweet, too! Color choices are nice, and the movement in the clothes is aparant. They don't look stiff or too 2D. Which tends to be a must with this style I notice.

One thing I notice though is the arms. The right arm seems a bit detached, and the left proportions are a little awkward. Both overall looking a tad bit long. For the most part, both halves of the arm should be equal size, the hand adding to the length of the forearm. You'll kind of get what I mean if you hold your own fist to your shoulder the right proportions. That's probably the best way I can explain. xD But anyway, I think the arms could be improved, but that's my only real nitpick I'd say.

The rest of the image is beautiful. The hands really, I like how gentle you made the silhouette and the way they're grasping onto the stick thing. I'm not quite sure what it is. xP Hands tend to be a harder body part to draw I notice. It can take some time to get them looking right considering all the bones we have in our hands. At least that's what I've heard.

But anyway, great job here, too! You have some nice talent. Keep on drawing.

I like that it looks very androgenous and has a floating waif-like beauty. I guess some people don't like the arms buts thats what gives it the magic for me.

Multifaceted talents indeed!

Well first of all, I have to say... you can color amazingly well! But it still needs some work. The position of the head is way off from the face. I draw manga too, and it took me a while to realize this, but the nose and mouth should line up with the chin when you're drawing. The highlights in her hair should also be longer. What I mean is, is that the highlights need to go up more to the top of her head. Overall, it's pretty good. And it's obvious that this girl is a very tall person. Just make sure everything is proportionate, and lines up more realistically.

I really liked the colors in your picture. The hands were pretty good. Well, all hands look good to me I fail at drawing them!
The proportions of your person seem to be off though. The head is too small for the body. I really like the staff though. Nice job!

Okay, first of all, the hands are long but that's not a mistake. It can be called 'part of your imagination' because that's where all the ideas come from. I think it's pretty neat that her arms and sleeves are long. If they'd have been short, they might have looked normal but since they're not, I think they look extraordinary. And the color combinations are perfect. Yellow looks awsome with green. And the background color is giving it the one last finishing touch.

The only thing which troubles me is that the person doesn't have a waist. But that's alright. It gives the drawing an ancient look .
