I have been checking some of my sketchbooks & found that I haven't posted those drawings here on YWS so I thought why not sharing them?
I have used references for both, except that I have made some changes to the model in the second drawing.
Both drawings are edited of course.

Hey there Starlight! It’s been a little while since I’ve reviewed art so excuse what might not be the greatest review ever.

Sunflower

So, there are two things I want to point out on this one. The first is the center of the flower. It seems very dark and in that, I think some of the detail was lost. Not a whole lot but it seems a bit messy. The other is that one petal on the left that’s extremely skinny. Why is it so small?

Still, I love the colors you used here, especially for the leaves and the oranger petals. And I love all of the little details you put into the leaves. Very good.

Model

The biggest thing with this one is that, although it was drawn with a reference, it would have been nice to have seen you go a step farther from the reference and given her some facial features. Otherwise, there isn’t much to say about this one. The line work is clean and the image as a whole is very clean. The really bright spot near her left arm is a bit irritating but it’s also understandable that not everyone has the funds for a scanner. :)

Anyways, best of luck, Starlight!

1. I love the vibrant colours you've used here but I think you got a tiny bit lazy on some of those petals. At the bottom there's a third row where you've basically just got a jagged outline. I'd have liked to see you shade and detail those as beautifully as you have the inner ones. Also, you could use a little more blending of the rings at the centre of your sunflower. If you look at one carefully the change isn't as dramatic as that, it's more gradual. The leaves are pretty nice and in general it's a cute and sunny drawing; I like it!

2. I like this one better though. Lovely precision and the outfit is just incredibly beautiful. There's a great simplicity to the shading which works really well here but like Lily I would have loved to see some facial features. Her arms could do with a little more definition as well - currently they're lacking elbows and other joints so they look a little rubbery. The hair is gorgeous, nothing needs changing there. Maybe soften the chin up though as the pointy face doesn't fit the really floaty, soft lines of her clothing. Overall a very good drawing though!

Hi there!

First Drawing: This is a very colorful drawing. I think you should find a shade of yellow between the shades you used. I think the shade of the front petals is a little too dark. If you lighten it up it'll go better with the back petals. Also, the middle of the flower looks a little off. The brown shade is a little too dark. I do like how you added green in with it though.

Second Drawing: This is really nice. I like the color you chose and the outfit is lovely. The girl's hair is drawn well. Just like Lily and Kitty, I think you should've given the model facial features. That way she wouldn't look so mysterious.

Keep drawing! :)

I'm sorry about not mentioning this before submitting, but the drawings were made using a soft pencil which forced me to edit them that way to make it clearer & brighter. In the second drawing, I had the risk of leaving the right hand bright like that or else the whole drawing would be dull and unclear.
By anyways, thanks all for your reviews, they were really helpful. :)
