Wow, this is nice! I like the colours and how they match with the picture to give such a mysterious feel- which is also an element of the novel. However I feel that the writing could be put somewhere else but you don't have to listen to that if you don't want to because it's quite alright how it is.

Interesting cover! Great Job MrsMagic.
Since the background is dark colored, I suggest you should brighten the novel's title a little bit instead of that dark grey to make it pop out.
Good luck in the contest = )

Oh wow that's gorgeous!

My only suggestion would be to change the title font into something more elegant like a type of script, and to lighten its color a bit just to contrast with the dark background. Other than that, awesome job!! :)

Hi there. :D So this looks pretty cool what you have so far! The overall cover art reads off very pretty and muted with all the blue hues and things, with the light of the moon being the main focal point. The only thing I guess that sticks out to me is how sort of generic the photography seems to look. The image is really very beautiful, I just feel like it gives of that sort of vibe like there was nothing extra done to it to make it seem more interesting. It can be a little difficult toying with landscape photography some times though. xD

Another thing I wanted to mention was the fonts chosen. The title font seems to fall in with the background a little too camouflage-y. I think that it'd be better if you picked something a bit more bold it'd draw the eye in rather than just be one with the background. I can sort of see the mix of blue hues around there in the lettering. The silver color seems to be a unique choice, but the fact that it's against the moon causes it to compete with the eye a little. Something a bit more solid might suit this more. As for the second font below it, there's isn't any continuity there. You've chosen two distinct looking lettering. If you decide to do one fancy font and then a separate secondary font below it, you should probably make it either match the main font(Which works best when it's a little more muted) or choose a softer more plain looking font to contrast. The two you have now seem to clash visually a little.

I've never read this novel before! Which I'm a little sad a bout, because I think if I had, I probably would've been able to be a little more helpful on how the cover art could be best improved to fit the story behind it. What you have now is really very pretty, but I would probably consider altering the fonts to match better, and maybe play around a little more with the cover image. You'll definitely be some tough competition then. ^-^

Anyway, good luck with the contest! I hope you do well.
