So I have a new best friend, and that new best friend is a mechanical pencil ^_^. Before I was just using regular #2's to draw with, but I found a mechanical one and tried it out. Let me tell you, it works sooooo much better :) The lines are sharper, cleaner, and shading's easier. Plus, I didn't even have to get up and sharpen ^_^ So yeah, I'm pretty estatic about that xP

So to me, the hair looks better in the pencil version, but I really like how the background turned out in the colored. I used GIMP (as always) and fooled around with the color commands.

Let me know what you think! ^_^

Oh. My. Goodness.

I cannot express enough how much I love this, especially the colored version.
I am in such awe that I will be no help what-so-ever.
But I love it. Yes.

Wow. This is really great. I totally love it!

The only thing is... Her chin. The rest of her face is so round and barely has any points so the chin just barely unbalances it all by being round too.
Also, in the pencil version, she seems naked (not in the no-clothes way, but a different way, you know what I mean?) Maybe if you shaded it a bit more under her eye (just a tad), and under her lips a bit (to make them seem more 3D) it would look better.

Great job with this :D

Keep drawing,

Hi there!

First I wanted to let you know I wasn't able to see the first drawing. Just thought I'd say that.

So, this is beautiful! I love the red hair. You can see every little detail of the hair and it's just amazing. The colors in the background are great as well. They make me think of a wonderfully green field with purple flowers popping up everywhere. I also like the way you made her skin blend into the background colors by the bottom of the drawing.

Great job! Keep drawing! :)

Hellooo xXTheBlackSheepXx!!
I'm here to give you a review for your awesome work! (Obviously XD) Okay so I want to start off with saying that I really like these drawings! Especially the colored one is very beautiful. But let's start with the first one!
Drawing 1
I absolutely love her detailed hair! Great job on that! Her face is done very well too. I actually don't have anything negative to say about these drawings and I don't have advice either XD I'm just telling what I love about it and how awesome it is! XD

Drawing 2
I love this one even more than the first one! The hair looks even better in this drawing and I love the color that you used for it. And aaaaaaaaaaaah I loffle what you did with her eye! It's so shiney XD Awesome! Her mouth and nose are done very well too. The colors you picked for the background fit very nicely with her hair color and her eye color.

So yeah...this was my review XD I know it's not very helpful but I just wanted to let you know that you really have talent and that these drawings are awesome *nods* And I really enjoyed reviewing this XD
Keep up the great work!

Mechanical Pencils are one of my favorite tools, as well n_n next to a red Ticonderoga pencil with an eraser to sketch out guidelines.

So anyway, on to the review. This is going to be really short because I don't see a lot to be nit-picky with...at all...

The first picture is FANTABULOUS as all of your work is. Your lines are very clean and crisp, and I love her hair. I think really all this needs is a few shadows, like where her hair falls over her eye, right under her arm, and maybe a bit to define her cheekbone, just to give the drawing more depth.
The shape of her body is very boxy looking and a bit too big for her head, especially her arm and shoulder, I think if you shrank that down a little and maybe added a little definition to her arm and back and shoulder then it would look less like she's just a well-drawn head floating on a few hastily sketched lines. that was probably too harsh...

the second picture is SHMAWESHOME!!I love the color of her hair, and her eye is just stunning (I am terrible with eyes) the background is so pretty, I like the softness of it and the color it adds to the piece. I think some kind of flower in her hair, a daisy or a sunflower or whatever, would just look so pretty and add more character to her. To me she looks very innocent and sweet, you really captured that well in her gaze.

I'm rambling... Awesome job! keep 'em comin!!
Are you a Badfish, too?

It was awesome at first, but then I looked at it closer&longer and it looked all distorted xD

In the first picture, I LOVE what you did with her eye. That cannot be stressed enough. I also like how you placed her eyebrow.
So much detail dedicated to her hair, the strands, that must've taken forever.
Her nose seems proportionate this time ;)
It's also cool how you gave her full, seductive lips.
Then I saw that she had no shirt on and I was like "O.o..."
To me, her arm looks too.. thick. It just does, not sure why.

The second picture is amazing as well, but it's rougher. Her shoulder, for example, looks kinda square; more-so than in the first- and her pupil looks like it almost overlaps with her bottom eye lid. The rocky-ness aside, it's pleasing to look at.
You still have that innocent look with the seductive smile, which I find cute.
Her hair color... That was a Grade-A choice.
Her eye is sooo pretty! I'll bet the other's a glass eye..
Her skin tone is attractive too.
Again we see that she has no shirt, but that doesn't have much of an impact this time ;D
I adore the background colors you used and how you put them on her too.
That little heart's a nice touch, and matches with her look.
"Amy 2011"? Is your name Amy, or hers?

Overall: Really? These are amazing. I'm soo jealous that you have so much talent in art. Keep it up, please; that'd be a huge favor to all art lovers. -pats your head- Good girl.
