Hi all!
Quite a few of you liked one of my first attempts at this, so I thought I'd post another more recent photo :) It's watermarked again... for the same reason, but I don't think I posted this.

Feedback, comments, suggestions and everything else welcome. Thanks!

Hello again Ahmad dear.

This is a very Valentines Day theme photo. I like that you used a soft background instead of a detailed one. Detailed backgrounds with the main subject of the photo the way you placed it here just doesn't work for me. The blurred background brings more attention to the rose bud. I like it.

Again on the subject of detailing, I love the detail on the rose bud. You can see the veins - can they be called that? - on the rose petals.

Though I don't really like flower photos, as I've seen many and they all seem to look the same, I would definitely put this on a card to my lover if I still had one.

I like the way you used the focus, but then again a lot of people do that. Also you seemed to cut to much of the flower out. I don't like the way you can only see the top, but remember to try different angles too.

Thats all!

I really liked this photo. I agree with ReiseP baout how it looks valentines dayish, but thats why I like it. Having the background blurred really brings focus to the first tulip. You can see every single little detail on the flower. It's truly amazing. I disagree with this comment ReiseP made though:

I really believe that flowers are the most versatile thing in the world to photograph! You can make them beautiful or ugly depending on what kind of theme your working with. And mainly, it's the photographer that makes it good. A good photographer=an amazing flower, a not-so good photographer=a not-so good flower.

Consider yourself a good photographer! Keep on taking pictures! I would love to see more!

Flower photos are one of my favourites! And I really like this photo. The photo quality is great which made the pink flower on focus looking so natural and beautiful. The background of blurry looking white and pink flowers is also well fitting. Yet, I wished to see the whole look of the pink flower and not cut from the bottom. I'd love to see more of your photos. :D

Oh. This photo made me sad =[ Its a really great photo and when I opened the page I was uber excited to see what you did with your latest attempt at photography. And then I clicked the thing to see the whole photograph, and that Was the whole photograph. I wish a bit more of the front tulip was showing. Other than that this is beautiful =]

Another thing that I might try to work on is adjusting different lightings and settings to make the colors pop a bit more. To me, they look a tad dull, not as vibrant as they could be. But maybe thats just me, I'm one to totally overdo everything, lol. So don't mind that comment.

Anyway! Great overall, fantastic =]

Again I like this very much but can't say anything that sounds in the least bit knowledgeable about photography. Sorry if I'm not much of a help :/

Hello, I like this but I feel it would of been better it you didn't cut of as much of the flower (just my opinion) I like the soft background and all the flowers in it. Sorry it wasn't much help but well done its a nice photo :)

Keep it up

I love this photo. It's a projection of peace and it's so beautiful. I think the half flower looks awsome. I'm not sure it would have looked better if you'd taken the picture of the whole flower. This half flower effect is perfect just the way it is. And the background gives the whole veiw a finishing touch. :)

I love this picture! Its really nice how the main focus is perfect and the rest of the image is slightly blurred.
