I had soooo much fun drawing his hair I've never done anything in the Goth/Emo whatever you want to call it style, this was kinda on a whim. But I really liked it ^_^
Unedited pic, inked.

I have to say, you are a much better artist than I have ever been, or probably ever will be! The good stuff that popped out at me in this picture were a) the hands, b) the clothes, and c) the hair. It can be a real pain in the arse to draw hands (that's why you see most people drawing people in a way that the hands end up behind the back) but you did a nice job with them. They're pretty realistic, so good job. The clothes, despite a few minor issues, fit the whole "goth guy" look you were trying for, at least in my opinion. The hair stands out in this drawing and the shading of it is just fantastic! I couldn't have done a better job myself.
Now, if you were ever going to draw this again, there are a few things I noticed you could fix up a bit to make the drawing better. Firstly, your dude here has the most abnormally shaped head I have ever seen. Honestly, if you colored him green, I might even joke that his face resembles an alien's, with the oddly enlarged eyes and the scarily small chin. Occasionally, when I am sketching and/or drawing a person, I will find a picture on Yahoo! images or the like that resembles the face shape and look of the person I am drawing, and from there it helps to look at that picture while I draw. That way, I am not just relying off of a flicker of a picture in my head, because when you do that, a lot of times you will end up with a drawing of a person who doesn't really have the anatomy of a human being - like abnormally shaped faces, feet, arms, body proportions, that kind of thing. Next time you draw a person, maybe you could start using that technique as well, so as not to end up with another (otherwise lovely) alien-headed dude.
I noticed a few other areas you could improve in this drawing. The pants, which you shaded in, are nice and all, but it's disappointing that you can see where you pressed and lightened your strokes, because of the dark color. That right there makes the pants look less like, well, real pants, because last time I checked, we didn't have streaky lines on our pants. That's a little nitpick-y, I know, so forgive me, but maybe you could just take your finger and smudge the pants (within the lines and all, of course) so that you could not see the pressure lines. One more thing about the pants: the rips. Now, I am assuming (and correct me if I'm wrong) that these are jeans. Generally, jeans are ripped in the front, from the thigh area down to about the calf area, so it really jumped out to me (not in a good way, either) that these pants have rips on the side. For some reason, it just irks me, and it also doesn't seem that realistic if you ask me. I've never seen pants ripped on the sides like such, and it almost reminded me of bandages - like his pants were just lots of overlapping bandages or something. Crazy, I know!
Another thing: the right foot. It's a little deformed, with a bulge near the top of the boot area. You wouldn't see that on a regular goth guy strolling through the mall with his goth buds, at least I wouldn't think so. Just make your line a little straighter, if you know what I mean. Okay. Now, one final thing, and I'm done (you: finally!). Even though I love the hair, it seems a little 'off' to me. The direction in which some of the hair stands up throws me off, because they're all in different directions, not like a breeze from the left is pushing them up or something. I would change it so that they all look like they're 'floating' in the same direction, if that makes any sense at all.
Well, good job - and I apologize for my psychotic babbling, haha!

Oh my gosh! His hair is fantastic! I love it =] The only nitpick I really have is with the neck. His face looks a bit too small and I wish his neck was a bit more exposed to give us a little bit more depth and length to him. I like that we can see the lines of shading in his pants, it just gives it that sketched feel, that I always really enjoy in artwork. Its nice to know that people actually Made the piece of art. Sure its great for people to mistake it for a painting or a photograph here and there, but its always nice to have something with that sketchy feel to it =] This is a really lovely piece. The hair was phenomenal =]
Again, I didn't read the other reviews, so don't badger me if I say the same things.
His hair, of course, is the first thing I notice. It's.. well, his hair's huge. It looks all prickly.. I think that you're supposed to add the illusion of softness into someone's hair, but his reminds me of Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh xD
Go down and you see his head, which seems very narrow. Is the narrowness from his hair or does he just have a small head? His eyes are obviously wandering his mind, but they still look too big for his head; especially if they were wide open. His nose is fine, not too large or small. Nothing to say about his mouth, obviously.
From there we see his hand. His entire hand, wrist to fingers, looks so.. fluid. So real. I like that a lot.
His coat and shirt have a lot of wrinkles, some of which look like some kind of pattern. You did very nice here. His belt is a nice addition; not something that you'd expect for this picture, yet still fits nicely. When I look closely at his pants, I see.. stitches? This is probably to add to the "goth" factor, as with the tears, right? Now we're near the bottom and I see lots of Velcro and I'm like "...eh?" Really, why is there Velcro on his boots? I don't understand it.. However, I like it as well.
Overall: This was an interesting piece of art. You're a very good author, just with some bugs to iron out; don't we all though? --Brandon xoxo
So I'll reveiw for you today if you don't mind. I draw myself so I should be able to help a little, let me know if I don't!
First thing that caught my attention was his hand, (the one if front of his face). If you look at it, his little finger joins directly onto his wrist, there needs to be a curve from the hand to the wrist so it flows into the wrist and then the rest of the arm. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself, but even for a cartoon his hands are rather unrealistic and strange. You need to curve the wrist more toward the end so there's a little scoop, of some sort, before it reachs the arm. Little nit-pick that I'm not sure I explained well but, here I've an idea. Curve your hand into the position you have it on the boy and trace it onto a piece of paper. There you should be able to see that the hand is not flat to the wrist but there's a little curve.
Other then that, I couldn't find fault with any of your work. Your shading was perfect, and the creases in the jacket and trousers were flawless. I was really in awe of the shoes. They were perfect in every sense of the word. You got them so real and so fluid, they were excellent. The face was also well done. I admire his nose, as noses are a feature that I never seem to get right!
One other thing I noticed was, I know you're proud of the hair so I won't be too harsh with this, that the strands sometimes sat or stood up in quite strange places. It was way too drawn if you know what I mean, it didn't really capture the 'it's windy and my hair is going crazy' kind of thing, it just looked like, as I said already, drawn. If that makes sense. Also, with shaggy hair like that it would tend to be floppy and soft, not stiff and able to stand on it's own.
However, this is an extremely well done drawing and I congradulate you on putting such effort into it!
Good luck editing that hand! Kagi xox
Got YWS?
If, when you mean to type yes you type yws, you know you belong.
Your a really good artist. The left leg of the character you've drawn is slightly out of place and his right eye is awkward too. :/ His left foot's weird too. (Sorry xD )
I LOVE THE HAIR! If I were a guy, I'd soo do that hair style xD But then, my school would kick me out, and people would get scared of me, so I might as well as leave that to my imagination. ^^
Since the people above me have, well, said everything, I'll be off then~!
Keep drawing. PLEASE! XD

If I were to have a super power, it would be to time-travel, so that I could turn back time, and erase your very existence.
