Rocking Around the Night with Jimmy Relicks: Episode 1

On Studio B, the crowd sat, mumurs racing down the aisles. This was the first live show of the RAN and many in the audience were skeptical of the host. They have never heard of this nobody, but they were being paid and they'd do a lot for that money.

The host walked out, a feminine looking man with his hair pulled back in a ponytail. He had a nervous smile and his hand shook as he waved.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to JIMMY!" the announcer shouted, sending the audience into a roar of clapping.

The young man walked up to the front of the stage and said in a nervous voice, "I'm sorry, but Jimmy can't make it here today. He got jumped in a back alley and is now suffering from a knife wound to the chest." A few in the ground grumbled and some began to get up and leave; it was obvious they weren't getting paid today. "However my name is Bob and I'm the back-up host."

"And how did you get the job?" the announcer mumbled, receiving a glare from the man.

"Just shut up and do your job." Bob turned to the audience, giving a stiff bow before saying, "We are in for a great show today. We are going to interview a very interesting character, a woman who goes by the name: Lee. Give a big hand for her!"

The audience clapped indecisively and a young woman stepped out onto the stage. She took a seat on the dark brown chair and Bob sat across from her, grabbing a pen and piece of paper while she looked around herself in a daze.

"Where the hell am I?" she finally said, glaring at the audience.

"Your author has agreed to have me interview you and that's that," Bob said shortly, flipping the page to read off something else. "And if you kill me, Rankiko will make your life a living hell." He looked up to see terror in Lee's eyes. "Capiche?"

She nodded mutely. "Understood."

Bob gave her a wide smile before beginning. "First off," he said before getting sidetracked, "this is a really long list. Seriously, a hundred questions?"

"Just read the questions!"

"Fuck you," Bob yelled at the announcer before turning to Lee. "What's your full first name?"

Lee snorted. "What type of stupid ass question is that? Fuck, I can do better than that!"

Bob sighed. "Just answer the question so I can get paid."

Lee huffed. "Fine. It's Erlani Lee Ozwal and don't you dare forget it!"

Bob rolled his eyes. "Sounds like a name for a dumbass to me."

"You shouldn't be talking. Bob is a name for a moron."

"Shut up and do your job!" He went to the second question of the evening. "Alright, when and where were you born?"

Lee rolled her eyes, taking out her knife to file her nails. "Born and raised in Rezdalw of District 11, sometime during October."

"You don't know when your birthday is?" Bob deadpanned.

Lee narrowed her eyes. "When there's a war around you, dates become less important."

Bob nervously laughed. "Alright, well anyway, moving on, who were your parents?"

"The Mr. and Mrs., dipshit." She flicked broken pieces of nail at him, smirking when he became red.

"Next question: did your parents raise you to be an ass?"

"Did yours?"

"How about I go over there, bitch, and slap stupid smirk off your face?"

"I'd like to see you try," she hissed, pointing her knife toward him. "I would slice you before you could."

Bob sneered, "I doubt you could."

In a flash, the ponytail that hung off his head was in the hands of the smirking girl. He looked at her, horrified before screaming, "MY HAIR! MY BEAUTIFUL, LUCIOUS HAIR!" He got up and ran, wailing, to the back room.

The announcer chuckled. "And now we must go to commercial break. Don't leave your seats for too long though, because we will be back with Lee's partner, the notorious Junkiko LeNaj."

Lee stuck up her middle finger at the audience before leaving for backstage. The music played louder and the people were glad to be able to get up.

A/N: That is my first crack on this site. I hope you enjoyed and will stick around for the next part of the episode. This is basically a show where I will interview characters and do weird stuff with Bob and Jeff. You'll see what happens later. *smiles* Review please!

Ummmm...........wow I wasn't expecting that...and I'm sort of confused about your story here but okay. I'm not a fan....sorry to say and I try to be fans of a lot of people's writing but you can't like everything. I was actually amused through some parts of it. This made me laugh. I got nothing to point out except for something in the beginning of the chapter when you probably meant to say crowd but u said ground instead. Look over that. Keep writing.

Hi there!

I liked this piece. I think it was quite funny and perfectly written. This reminded me of an authors attempt to get more information about their character. I wish I could do that. You know, call up my character and ask for an interview. Anyway, this piece was good and I couldn't find any problems with it.

I do have to say there was one part that I didn't really understand. At the end when Lee and Bob were fighting, you wrote:

In a flash, the ponytail that hung off his head was in the hands of the smirking girl. He looked at her, horrified before screaming, "MY HAIR! MY BEAUTIFUL, LUCIOUS HAIR!"

Was Bob wearing a wig, or was that his real hair? And was it ripped off, or did she just pull his hair?

Can't wait for the next episode! Keep writing :)
