HI! I know this is the welcome center, but I was wondering if someone can tell me how I can put up new works. It won't let me.

Hi there peachyturtle :) First off, you need to gain at least 100 points to submit work. To gain these points you give reviews to people, and they'll review your works, so your doing people favours. The more detailed your review is, the more points you gain. It is easy to review works: you just post one in the comment section of the page. Hope that helps, and welcome to YWS :) Oh, and as this is a review day, it's recommended to review as much as you can, for the goal for the whole site is about 700. Of course, you yourself are nto asked to do 700 reviews, but do as many as you can. Hope you have a great time here :)

Hey there, Peachyturtle. Welcome to YWS! I'm glad your question to the way submitting works was answered. It's a fairly easy thing to grasp, but I know with being new to the site, things can be a little confusing! I was absolutely lost when I first joined.

If you ever have any other questions that need answering or if you're simply in need of a nice, honest, and thorough review, feel free to ask me! I'd be glad to help you out with anything you may need. Just post a comment on my wall or send a PM(private message) my way and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I hope for the most part though that you're getting a good feel for the site. It's much funner when you can just jump into everything without much hesitation.

Anyway though, welcome again! And I hope you have as much fun as YWS has to offer.

:smt039 Hi, peachyturtle! Welcome to YWS. :elephant:
If you want your own personal guide to get you around the site, you can get a mentor from The Buddy System. A buddy will answer your questions, review your work, and help introduce you to the site. :D

I look forward to reading your work. Happy writing, and have fun on the site.

'Let's eat Grandma!' or, 'Let's eat, Grandma!' Punctuation saves lives.

Reviews? You know you want one. :)

Hi, welcome to the site!

I just thought I'd pop by and tell you a little about the YWS Buddy System. It's basically where a new member is able to choose a mentor who will show them around the site and answer any questions they may have. It's a great way to get to know someone else on the site and as an added bonus, the mentor reviews some of the new member's literary pieces.

If you're interested or want to find out a little more about it, here's a link.

I hope you're settling in well :)

Hiya peachyturtle~
First off I want to welcome you to the YWS. Im Randi or Robbin. Call me what ever you like! ^-^
Anyways, your going to need points to post some work. Depending on what your posting most likely it will be 100 points. By doing this you can review peoples work, poems, stories, or come to the welcome matt like this and post some replys. Really, the longer the reply the more points you can get. Second off, your going to need to go to the submit button at the top near the storybook RPGs and YWS blog. Next click the botton Click here to submit. Then you will be able to post your work depending on what you want.
Well I hoped I helped you!! If you ever need anything else you can message me, or post on my profile. Im always checking YWS so Ill make sure to get back to you. I hope we can become great friends and fellow writers! I cant wait to review some of your work! I bet it will be amazing to read depending on your writing style!
Nice chatting with ya!
Bye~~Nya
