Nice job I really like the pic you took (you took it yourself, right? Not something off Google images) it's very eye-catching. And the font is nice too, it's a little hard to see the red but that's alright.
Interesting choice for the back cover too, it almost looks like it's for a mystery novel, which would really draw me in.
Great job!

On the back cover, the words seems so.. out there. So much contrast between it and the rest of the cover. Maybe you could find some way to make the white marks overlap the text? Or some other way to make the words blend better. The font itself though, I liked. The text you chose to write, well it seemed to insignificant compared to the story. For instance, replacing "girl" with "woman" for Tide's section would affect her character in a way right there. For James, you could replace "Tides ex boyfriend" with something emotionally filled, like "Tide's constant thought".. okay, yeah, that one doesn't seem right either, but you get the point. "And a very secret admirer" was a clever line, drawing contrast from the others with its mystery.
The front cover feels like it has too much purple. Try changing it to a yellow-ish tint and see how that looks. With all the shadows and her jacket already being dark, purple blends everything together. If that's your effect, then you did nicely. I can honestly say that I absolutely adore the font that you used at the top, can you tell me where you got it? Despite how I feel about it, I think that it should be toned down a little. Looking at the bright colors compared to the dark purple, it hurts my eyes. I also think that you should lower it to her side, because it draws my attention away from the rest of the cover. However, the red text at the bottom is almost illegible. The front cover doesn't appear to balance itself out very well, which doesn't make it visually appealing.
As someone entering a bookstore and seeing this on the shelf, I may glance over at it and read the title, but I probably wouldn't be too interesting in the dullness of the purple to look at it. Call me ignorant, but I still believe that pictures are worth a thousand words.
Despite my criticism, I do like the picture that you chose. It's so realistic and fits the theme of the story. All these things that I said are only my opinion and may not matter to you, but I took the time to write all of this for you, and I'm glad that you took the time to read it all. --Brandon xoxo
