This was one of my first attempts at modeling, trying to include some type of light source.

I'd like to know how you did this.. I'm assuming it's some sort of computer program, but I don't know which one.. So how did you make it??

Anyways, I'm liking it so far, although I think you could possibly change one or two things, such as maybe making the fire look more fire-like.. does that make sense lol? I think the shading is working quite well though. :P

This'll take a little time to explain... I'll post a really good answer later.

Thanks, KayJuran. I'll work on the fire.

I modelled this, creating a 3d scene, rendered an image, and then applied an artistic blur in an image editing program.

The blur ruined the wood grain.
You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, instead, you should read every single book to see what every book is about before you even come close to judging its viability.

For a second I thought it was a photograph.

Hey, that's pretty good but a little too blurry in some parts.

Oooh... cool...

It reminds me of something out of Shrek. Like if a character was looking in another mirror, they could see that reflected behind them. Neat-o. :D
