This is my entry for Skins's novel designing contest. One of the recent parts of the novel included a cliff, so I thought I'd do something with that. I'm not too keen on the font of the title, but it's the best I could find on the editing site I used. I could really do with Photoshop or something. Thanks for any reviews!

(I don't own any of the images in this. I used weheartit.com and Google Images to find them.)

There's gonna be one less lonely girl! ~ Sorry Justin, I don't think going out with yourself counts.
Wow, that's great! I haven't read the novel, so I don't think I can give too detailed of a review on this. All I can say is that you are a master of layering images! I love how the whole thing is sort of a neutral color and then your eye catches the black silhouettes in the center. It's very clever and I'm not sure if you intended it that way or not. You should download GIMP from gimp.org It's basically the free version of Photoshop. I agree that that font probably isn't the greatest as it doesn't match the overall mood of the cover, but I think GIMP has all the fonts most word-processing programs do.
Woah! you make me look like a noob. But I'm okay with that! This is really neat, the rain, the water, the characters, they all mesh really well. Well done =]
This is pretty cool! I like how I can't tell whether it's a picture or a photograph and compositionally it works quite well. The only thing I don't like about it, like you say, is the font. I just think it doesn't really fit with the overall tone of the picture you are using. The font looks more like something you might use for something to do with horror. I don't know about the editing software that you are using but I know that on photoshop you can download fonts. Well on any computer you can download extra fonts. I usually use - http://www.fontspace.com/ to find different fonts. I find the one I want and then download it, install it and I can use it in photoshop or in word or anything.
Hope that helped!
