Hello again! here are moar photos of What I've taken this week! I'm sorry if my english isn't good right now, I'm pretty tired when I'm posting this. xD
NOTE : Don't Forget to right click and view image.
I took this one during my cousin's wedding, the ushers and usherettes let the bird flew after my cousin past through the arch thingy, I dunno what it's called. xD

Well, this is our university's gym, the building, that's a ball field just right beside it and we occasionally practice football there. :)

And finally, here's a candle, I wanted this to stay simple, I made this when our class had a religious discussion.

SURPRISE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyLT2B4pe8c&feature=channel_video_title I took this with my Camera, it had a high-speed capture function (In short: Slow-mo) on it so I put it to good use. :)

The pictures are really amazing! My favourite is the third one. I like the glowing candle, the red, orange & yellow mixture of colours. They all give a sensation of warmth. I like the choice of darkness in the second photo of yours however, it lacks some detail. I have wished to see more of those branched trees like that on next to the house. But it is lovely, keep up the good work! :)

They're beautiful! Just look at all the detail on the bird... And the candle, it's so colorful xoxo

I have a question though. How much editing did you do to the candle, aside from writing your name?

Hey Vitamin! These are beautiful, once again. You do amazing things with a camera.

Love the first one. The focus and composition are great, and I like how the bird seems like it's looking straight at you. I have a feeling it would look really good on black. If you have flickr, try this: http://bighugelabs.com/onblack.php I'm not so thrilled about your editing, though. For this one, it just seems like a little much. Keep the vignette, but lose a bit of the yellow.

The second is really cool, though I don't like it quite as much. It has sort of a surreal feeling, mostly because of the sky. But it seems a bit too dark, and there's quite a lot of nothing at the bottom. Maybe a crop and a little bit of brightening would do the trick.

The third is my favorite. It's simple yet detailed, and the colors look amazing. The black background directs your attention right where it should be and keeps it. Composition-wise, it might look better if the candle was not centered, but nearer to the side instead.

Great photos! Keep shooting! ;)

Hi!

I have to say I'm in love with the third pic. That is like, the most amazing candle I've ever seen. And I'm in love with the colors. I can stare at the fire forever. It has an almost magenta tint around the edges.

The first pic I thought looked a little blurry. I would've liked to see it sharper, Especially whatever the bird was standing on, because I can't tell what it is. I also thought this would've worked better if it was centered a little more. Because it feels like I'm cranking my neck to actually look at the object of the photo, which is the bird, which is way over yonder on the edge of my screen. I almost wish there was more color contrast here, but I'm not sure.

Second pic was boring to me. It looks like a dreary old building lol.

I love your art :)

Hello VitaminCakes,

I have to say these are really good photos and you have turned simple things into very beautiful objects with one single shot. For that reason alone I already have a good reason to admire your talent for photography. I also like the range of photos you have taken and the variety of objects that they are focused on. It really compliments your ability to take photographs of many different things not just say, err, I don't know, flowers? Sorry that's not a good example it's just I know for a fact that some photographers decide to only take photos of flowers which is sometimes very frustrating! Now I have a few things I would like to point out.

The first picture of the dove is really good. Honestly it just looks so pure and serene perched on that roof. I also love how it cranes it's neck slightly to see what is going on out of it's on innocent curiosity (that came out much more poetically than I intended, whoops!) Anyway I really have nothing more to say, this photo is honestly quite free of flaws and you have edited it really well, just a subtle toning to give it a more rustic look.

Okay, the second one. This is ,I'm sorry to say, my least favorite picture of the three. I don't usually like to bring attention to peoples flaws but honestly i just don't like it. The actual photography is really good but the editing makes it just look far to dark, gray and blurry. Also there is to much going on, perhaps I f you had just focused on that brilliant sky and those trees that look like silhouettes against the sky you would have produced a higher quality photo but at the moment it looks it bit dampening, sorry if i sound harsh, there are a lot of good aspects in this photo but just looking at your other photos, it looks like a different photographer took the picture.

The third picture! Yay, I have been itching to get to this one, it's really incredible! I love the contrast between the pitch black background and the warm, deep colors of the flame. Have you edited this? I really can't tell it looks like it was just taken raw and then put on here. Anyway it looks great, really powerful and effective, far, far better than anything I could produce!

Overall these are good pictures and it was a pleasure reviewing them for you, I would be really interested to see more of your works so make sure you keep me updated and maybe I could fit in another review? The offer is there... Anyway once again I have to tell you that these are simply incredible, I love your style of photography and your editing skills aren't at all bad either. keep up the excellent snapping!

I'm not much of a photographer myself, but I do appreciate a good photo. These are very beautiful. I like how all three images give off the same sort of vibe - very tranquil. My favourite would have to be the dove, it's quite lovely.

Hellooo NICOLAS!! *huggles* :D
I haven't even seen these pictures yet OO Which is very wrong and evull of me. Bad bad qara!
Okay so let's start at the beginning XD

Photograph 1
I really like this picture. The dove makes this picture serene and pure like DreamingForever already said. XD I like the editing too but I do suggest you make it a little less yellow, so that the awesome dove's feathers will stick out a little more. I think it would look better that way, but maybe that's just me. XD Also congratulations on your cousin getting married! =)
So yess that was everything I had to say about this picture I think...uhh yeah, let's move on!

Photograph 2
This a pretty nice picture too but I don't like it as much as the other two pictures. I mean the sky in this picture is absolutely beautiful and so are the trees, but I think that the building and the football field make this picture a little bit too busy. Maybe crop it a little and see how it looks then? The editing in this picture is done very well, so congratulations on that! XD That sky really is beautiful.

And now the last picture!

Photograph 3
I absolutely love this picture! And I love it the most from the other two pictures. The burning candle gives this photograph such a warm feeling and this would be great as a poster or card or something. =) Absolutely great editing in this one. I like how the background is just plain black. It makes the candle glow even moar!

Okay so that was all I had to say I think. Great work..as always. I hope this review helped a little and please forgive me if it didn't XD Keep making awesome pictures! I'm going to wander through your older stuff now and see if I can review anything else. Bye!
