So I'm halfway done, I'll be posting the rest when I finish the back cover.

I came up with the idea of holding hands from the title of the novel, which to me felt like Jonah was carrying Tide away from her past and into a better and brighter future ^_^

The yellow green black bracelt was mentioned in the novel, but Jonah's wasn't. I just imagined him this way, being a musician/artist and all, I thought he would have a bit of flair on him lol.

The only thing I'm not happy with is the text, the font is all blurry and I spent about half an hour trying to figure out how to fix it but came up empty x( It's my first time using text in a drawing.

I think that this is a sweet cover. It is simple and to the point! I sort of wish that there was more color though... People do not normally pick up the white book, I look first to the dark blues, and oranges. If this has something to do with the book directly, then cool, but like I said, walking through a bookstore, this is not the book that I would pick up.

I think this is really sweet, but I also think it needs more colour.
What I'm getting from this cover is; the dude is obviously tough, while the girl is delicate. Am I right? I think it's very cool how you've portrayed that. Very well done, I say! (:

Very nice! However, I must agree with the others...this piece needs more color. I also think that the font is a bit bland, but that could just be me. The picture's really sweet though! Good work! :)

I disagree. Catcher in the Rye, Dean Koontz's Seize the Night, The Shining, Cujo all had white or silver covers. Personally I think the white pulls attention to the piece. Must say though that if the piece is ever published the author wouldn't have a say in how the cover, in fact even making a cover to send in is a little unproffesional for agents and publishers.

I like the little detail of the single black nail, very nice, along with the bracelets both of them wear.
