<3's for Photoshop...

Well, as you probably know, since I can't draw, I have resorted to Photoshop. And Photoshop is good.


I made this from a screenshot I took of ESIV. If you don't know what that is, just know that I'm a nerd...
It's simple, but I thought it looked pretty cool...I personally feel like the electric-y orb thingie contrasts a lot with the arch.

I like it, but I agree with your statement about it contrasting. You might try just a slight blur only on the orb; I think it stands out a little too much now from the rest of the image.

But it's impressive!

Ack! I combined the layers before I applied the radial blur. >.<
I guess I'll just have to remake it someday.

You might try using a non-uniform select tool to select just the area you want, and then apply the blur. It should stay contained in the selected area.

Though I really do think it looks very good.

is it a sort magical statue making an orb and controlling the wind/or the magic is so powerful its making the wind go weird like on harry potter 4 in the maze

You know what doesnt make sense?
If the orb is emitting light, why doesnt the arch have light on it? I mean if you shine a flash light on something Im sure itll be illuminated.

Yeah, I thought about that right after I combined the layers and saved it.

If I decide to redo it, I'll see if adding a lightsource makes a difference.

I like it, it loks very fantasy and I could write a story from it, I would place it in the contests and force..I mean allow people to write a short fantasy around it.
