Okay. Here's a painting I just did. Time: forty five minutes. Media: Acrylic. Brush: coarse bristle.

The lyrics on the side are from one of my favorite songs right now. Its called Hurt and was originally written by Nine Inch Nails and was covered by Johnny Cash.

Also, the photo quality is terrible. With my style of painting, you really have to step back to see what it is. But its a white oleander flower. =] Hope you like it!

First off, that's a beautiful flower, from what I can see. My only complaint is the lettering. It detracts somewhat from the beauty of the painting, because it's difficult to read. For any kind of painted lettering, I would definitely recommend a smaller brush. I love the quote itself, though.

Other than that, I really liked it. You have undeniable skill when it comes to flowers. The shading is especially nice.
I aim to misbehave.

That's quite good. A little lacking in detailed perhaps, but overall very nice and very beautiful and artistic use of colouring and media.
Being children of a cruel reality, we fall prey to the greater powers.
To envy.
To madness.
Betrayal.
Love.
And yet without these things, we cannot remain human. Without these things, we are nothing.
But it is the greatest sacrifice. To envy. To be mad. To betray. To love.
To be human.
