Book Cover Idea for me and my friend's story

My friend Dana and I are writing a story that we hope to turn into a famous book series this should be the cover for the first book...critique please! I took the pic myself!

Well first off it doesn't seem like a cover to a book. Is this just the image you want on the cover? If this is a cover, it needs you and your friend's name on it, as well as the title of the book. Secondly the picture is really bad quality, that could be from editing or just the camera(which wouldn't be your fault). I also would assume that you would adjust this image to fit the size of the book. Other than that, it seems perfectly fine.

Hey evfreak13, firstly you should have mentioned the name of your novel or at least give a brief note about what your novel is talking about in order to see whether this photo you have taken here ( which is marvelous! ) matches the story of yours or if it was off point. However, your picture is too large - as you have mentioned before - but I am sure you haven't taken your shot at that high magnification. It just makes the star present in the necklace unclear. I would love to see you putting the name of the novel as well as the authors names. (you and your friend)

Pentacle? I like pentacles =] Is this a paganist or wiccan novel by chance???? This photo, is large, and a bit blurry. I'd even it out a bit, clear it up, make it smaller lol. But the subject matter is great!!! =]

We are not sure of the title yet and yes, it is the image only(not the cover). I tried going on Picnik to change the size but somehow it stayed almost the same! ugh it looks much better on my computer but it showed up horribly on here! It's all fuzzy...I shall fix it once I figure a way how...

By the way, the story is about basically about the end of the world. It is set in the future and it involves a fight for control between humans, spirits/angels, demons/underworld creatures, and nymphs/nereids/naiads/sorcerers/etc. Some humans are in denial.

Main characters are: Zylaea (witch/sorceress), Uriel (angel), Arella (angel, uriel's sis), Persephone (demon-type underworld princess. Don't comment on her name; her father is corny. ), and Aron(human/declared insane for seeing spirits)

There is an evil mysterious force corrupting the world and everyone in it. It's up to these 5 people (their ages start at 16) to find out who it is and restore peace and tranquility to the Earth.
