Hold my heart in my hand <3

It's been such a long time since I've posted anything under art and photography. Though I like to think of myself as more of an artist than a photographer, I thought this picture was nice enough to post up. Yes, I know. Conceited --this is my hand. xP This was actually not meant for photography purposes though originally. I took this picture off my cellphone so that I could use it as a subject to sketch with. I tried to pretty it up a little, but I'm no photoshop genius. I call this hipster-retro, what do you call it!? 0_o

I like these photos. I'm no photoshop genius either, in fact, I've never used photoshop. The middle one is my favourite photo. Maybe you could show us the original photo? Anyway, nice work and keep up the photography!

This are really nice, the title got my attention and so did this photos. I love the second one, where it had the Cross Reference. When you said you wanted to go with the hipster feel in this one, you did a great job doing that! The only problem I have with this one though is that there's that little thing in a distance, it distracts the viewer from the main focus/subject, try to keep in mind that the background comprises most of a picture so it affects the detail.

I haven't ever used Photoshop, so I don't really know what to say.

All I know about Photoshop is that fact that it is very hard to use. So, I guess your picture is pretty good! Your picture first looked to me like a drawing. I didn't look at it too well. I only realized that that was your hand when you mentioned it below. It gives a whole new effect. Good work!

I also like the way the hearts change color. At one point it is red, then it is green and then it is blue. Good work on that too.

The first one looks a bit like how an X-Ray would look like to me, strangely. Weird.

My favorite is the last one. Perhaps it is the fact that I absolutely love the color blue or the fact that that was the only hand and heart that I couldn't comment about.

The middle hand looks like how your hand would look like really, only slightly changed.

Keep practicing Photoshop! I am sure that you will be good at it after a while! I wonder when I should start it . . .

i think its really nice. It has a good vintage feel to it =] I think the shape of the hand is a bit too stiff but other than that its really quite lovely =] The colors you chose fit together, the heart itself is really cool. Job well done =]

gives me an andy warhol type of picture. I see alot of this style but you didn't overdo the color saturation or effect and I think the contrasting hearts really mix well,

This is really cool, I think The moment I saw it, my eyes were darting all over the page because of all the colors. xD I'm positive that is a good thing.

So, about the colors. I have to say they are wonderful. The shades you use are very pretty and are kind of uncommon colors in the first place. I think most people would've made uber bright colors all over the picture, but you balance it really well with the burgundy red and minty green. And the bright red and navy blue. And the bright blue and light violet. So honestly I'm really impressed and I think I can learn something from you xD

I even love how shiny your nails are O_O

I'm wondering what that stick thing is in the background. Maybe you could find a way to delete that? I'm wondering what the pics would look like without the distraction.

Overall, this is gorgeous. I can see it as a poster in my room or something xD
