Colored Anime Boy, 4 Versions

Hey guys! I did the lineart for this pic a week or so ago, and I decided to practice coloring with it ^_^ So I'd appreciate it if you would let me know your favorites/least favorites! All coloring done on GIMP

using 'Overlay' features

And I'd also like to include a link to my first AMV, done to Final Fantasy, which has really inpired my art. If anyone with video editing experience can help me out I'd really appreciate it. Or if you just want to watch it ^_^

Impressive. Your skills have improved! I see virtually nothing wrong with proportions AT. ALL. Impressive~ ;P

My favorite would have to be either the fist one, or the one that you colored normally (with the lineart) I love the first one because it's just... so cool how you did that with the multiple colors. Do tell a fellow GIMPer how you did that? ;P Daisuki did something similar and I'm sooooooo wondering how you did that! Do tell, do tell. ;D

I think the ONLY thing I'm a little iffy on would be the arm. Theres just a minor curve after the elbow that looks kind of... too.... curvy...? I don't know. Kind of looks like someone punched him and he has a bump. But that's really just a severe nitpick that only someone like me would see in the first place, so don't mind it at all XD (I just look into things too much)

I think... MAYBE... if you wanna be a poo head and tear this to a pulp, then the head might be a tad too big for the smallness of the body, but then again, I'm not a poo head, so never mind ;P

Oh yes. I love the proportions. Absolutely loverly. Mahhhhhh-velous, dear, simply mahhh-velous ;P

I really like it. As somebody else said, that's kind of like how people really are--so many layers. Very well done. It looks as professional as anime books you see published.

Yay! Thanks for pming me about these =]]]. I like all of them loads! But I think my favorite would have to be... the last one! It looks really earthy to me, simple and natural. Very very lovely =] The colors for all of them are really interesting and you should definitely consider doing a collage or something Andy Warhol ish lol. They're lovely, I wouldn't change a thing =]]

First off, love your avatar! Now down to the nitty gritty (yes, I really did just say that).

These are really good. I love the folds you showed in the boy's shirt, the texture his hair has, and his proportions are great (which I've come to find people have trouble with.)

I'm normally not a big anime fan (unless watching cartoons) because I love realistic drawing/painting/whatever. But this isn't too shabby.

I get a sense of personality, a sense of a story that goes with each picture. Good job.

I can't decide which one is my favorite, they're all so good. Hmmmm...

Well, anyway, good job, keep it up.
