So I recently splurged on some inking pens that cost me about 20 bucks. The most annoying part of coloring a scanned image is that I have to re-draw it on the computer because the lines are too light x( So I think this fixed the problem :D

This is an unedited pic, colored with normal markers.

The same thing tampered with GIMP

Colored with GIMP (I went too crazy on the hair, whoops x()

not sure if I'll color this last one... suggestions? :D

Thanks for taking the time to look at these ^_^ Comments are always helpful!

Nice! I like your middle picture the best, it's the most proportionate. The first one has kinda funky legs and the last one has a kinda funky nose and kinda funky too slim waist. Its nice to know that I'm not the only one in the world that uses GIMP. You do an excellent job colouring it on the computer, though! The last one might be good with some shading, but it looks a tad 2-D and has a very rounded but overly slim stomach/waist. It's kinda girly, and he is a dude, right?

Anyway, keep up the nice work!
Honey, you should see me in a crown.

Oh geez... I'm so jealous of how you draw eyes and hair, especially. Tori said mostly what I was going to, so...

The hands. Seriously, you have a lot of trouble with hands. I do too, and maybe it'll help both of us if we just focues it on those hands? Draw a coulple pair in different positions? When I draw hands, they always come out best when I keep looking at my own.

Your fabric creases are really great, too.

On the first one and second ones, I really love the color choice. I think going crazy on the hair of the second one was actually a good choice. She looks awesome. She has pink eyes. O.o

Gotta go,

Oh my! The third and fourth are absolutely amazing. On the third drawing, your lineart stands out and is so neatly presented. I envy you so, so much!

The fourth one, despite you going overboard on the hair (I for one like it :3) is probably the best out of the two. You're brilliant at shading, and your color choices are so bold and radiant C:

I hope that one day I'll be as good as you, please draw some more like the third one!

Gah! These are lovely. I really like the middle on and I don't think you went too crazy on her hair. It's gorgeous! And as for the last one, I Do think you should color it. It's really cool and I'm curious as to what you'll turn it into =]

I must say your shading is phenomenol. Not just the shading, but the mixing and blends of colors (especially in the second colored picture. It's a shame that everything is so perfect in the pic that the hand really stands out. Not just the less detailed fingers but how small the hand is, almost gimpy. Hate to use that word but it kind of applies.

Also the final pic of the man, the arms and hands clash. Its the extreme detail of hair and eyes and face that clashes with the lack of detail in the hands and fingers, no joints or bend of the wrist. Try going over pictures of hands in these types of drawings, one need not be hyper realistic, but it can't just be one big connecting limb in contrast with the level of detail in the clothing and hair and shading.

That said, these are quite excellent. well done
