Scenes of Seas

This is my first post on YWS and I am feeling so excited for you to see them and review them for me.
But first I would like to give you a brief note about the nature of my artworks. Most of them, are not made up from my mind, usually I collect photographs from professional photographers, or wallpapers from the internet, and whenever I see a photograph I like, I draw it with my own style. ( most of my drawings are with pencil and pencil colors or poster colors).
I hope you like them and of course you 'should' criticize whether positively or negatively. Your judging will be a great help for me to improve my work.

Hello there! Okay. Colored pencil, though it may seem easy, its reaaaally difficult. The main things that could really improve your work, is if you press down as much as you can with the pencil, I know it seems silly, but when you leave it streaky and light, it may look good in some aspects but if you pull it off the correct way, it really pops, believe me. So maybe darken it up. I wasn't ahuge fan of the first one, but the second one is really nice especially the land in the background, you have really good high lights. So just experiment with darkening a bit.=]

Totally love your art work! I wish I could draw like you! I love the colors and the shadding on your art work! It's just breath taking. I really wish I could write more, but I don't know a lot about art work so I'm not sure what else there is for me to sayy.

I do the depth to this, how it looks like you can just see the whooolllee ocean soo beautifull

First off I love your subject. I grew up landlocked but get to live by the ocean for school. You've definatly got a fan here.
I like your style too. It's contemproary, but there is a lot of personality in there as well. Especially in the second picture you posted ( the one with the dolphins) The islands have really great depth and texture to them. What kind of pencil crayons do you use? Have you tried prisma colors before? When I sketch I prefer pencil crayons as well, you know crayola, leurencian, etc. but Prisma colors knock my socks off! you should give them a try... and then you'll be addicted

I have used normal Faber Castell pencil colors ( I am not a fan of them thought, sometimes they make the picture look pale ) I have never tried Prisma colors before, but I will give them a shot!
