Hello! I'm green_river, and I'm new to the forums. I found this site through the Writer's Digest 101 best websites for writers. I especially like to write poetry, and I follow the religion of taoism. If you have any questions about me feel free to ask.

So...I'm Imp - if you have questions mods are in plentiful supply - they always answer. Their job, you know. And there's the FAQ - if you have more commonplace queries.

But what do you write? Poetry or prose? Or both?

I usually write poems, but I'll write prose in moderation. My favourite types of poems to write are free verse or haiku.

Though I don't write poetry more than prose myself, I like haiku. It's a wonderful way to have to be concise in imagery.

Basically just extensive research of different world religions led me to it. I spent a lot of time learning about religions so I could find the right one for me. But if you want to get really technical, The Tao led me to taoism.
