These are the third and fourth things I've ever done using vectors...Yay! I'm pretty happy with them. They're for Personal Challenge, which is a school thing with a self-explanatory name. I'm creating a character a day for fifty days as my challenge. Here are four of them. Rip them apart!

Image

Left: Sarah Plateighs Right: Chelsea Faux
In an alternate world, Chelsea is from a rich family until ex-convict and unorthodox Sarah kidnaps her for her involuntary skill as an exorcist. Sarah chooses flee over flight and is quite the flirt, but 'pride' is not in her vocabulary, unless it's the relation 'vanity'. Chelsea is quiet but stubborn, a logical over-thinker as an only child.

Top: Stella Bottom: The Ringmaster
Stella is the good to The Ringmaster's bad, the calm to his temperamental and the thinker to his impulsive. No one really knows anything about this ancient being. The Ringmaster is an ex-pirate and centuries old. When he was a pirate his ship was sinking when a moon goddess in the form of a mermaid made a deal with him. He would have eternal life and his ship and crew back if, when he took a ship, he would send the souls of all on board to her. They had quite a night on the beach, but the mood goddess broke his heart. He has vowed revenge, and won't stop until the moon has fallen and he is in her place.

Thanks!

These are awesome! That's really impressive that you could create each one (both drawing and character profile) in a day!

The only suggestion i have for the first pic is that you add shading. The only place you shaded was the brunette's lips, and see how well they stand out? The rest would look just as gorgeous if you gave it the same attention.
I love their outfits btw

The second pic is very creative! I'm really impressed that you thought of the idea of putting them inside the design.
Again, the only problem I can see is a lack of shading, which gives this a very flat, 2D look. more vivid colors would help as well.
Any reason he's dressed like Uncle Sam?

Great job on all these designs,

Hey there! Okay. The only thing I saw that I was iffy on was the girl on the left. Her eyebrows seem to be just a bit too thick for the rest of her face. But other than that I didn't see anything wrong. The shading was really good, especially in the clothes and the necks. The bottom one, I liked a lot. It was really creative and the shapes you formed were incredible. Nicely done =]

Ok, first of all, I'm not really sure how to review art but I think these are really nice and they express a lot of things!

Well done for that. Though I must say that in the first one, Chelsea seems to be a bit muscular.
I especially like the second one becuase of the expression on the man's face.

So in all, well done and I'm sorry for the lame review.

Keep up the good work! : )

Hello.
Wow these are good!

The first one is done really well and I love the background of it :)

The second one is my favourite! You thought this one out really well and I love the design of it and the cat is cool :) I like the way the man in there is tilting his head so we can’t really see his face. I think you done and really good job here!

Sorry if I didn’t really help much.
Keep it up

Oh no, I’m sorry, you’re under the impression that here on YWS we *help* writers instead of just feeding their gremlin tendencies.
