Hello there =]. Okay now. You have really good raw images here descent subject material, but I have to say that two of them stand out over the rest. The first one and I think the fifth one? With the leaf? Those two are my favorites in the bundle. I think I would have liked the others more had you resharpened them or changed the lighting a bit, they would have drawn more atttention to different areas of the picture. There was one that I thought had TONS of potential. It was the shot underneath the reeds with the house in the back. Had you switched the angle so the house wasn't showing, and then placed a colorful object behind the reeds, a flower perhaps, you would have had one kick butt picture! Overall, descent, could use a tid bit of work. But a round well done from me =]
Hi slone! I'm glad to see you're back for a bit. Alright so overall I really like these photos. Your biggest problem right now is that you don't seem to be paying attention to your backgrounds. Take a photo from every angle you can so you have a variety of backgrounds too choose from. For example, if there is a house in the background try taking the photo from directly above your subject so you only see the ground.
Another thing I noticed was that you don't seem to play with your subjects that much. Of course I can't tell because you only put one of each up, but how many photos do you take of each subject? I have taken an hour taking pictures of one lilac bush. I wanted to make sure I got that perfect photo. When you take more than one photo what I mean by 'playing' with things isn't that hard to do once you get in the groove. For example in the sixth photo did you take a picture of that plant while holding the plant on the right out of the photo? I think that would have looked better. The other plant distracts the viewer. What I am trying to say is experiment more, do it as much as you can. That way you will get better photos and you won't lapse into the same old same old.
Individually:
1. This was good, but it didn't really catch my eye because it is a photo lots of photographers try out.
2. I actually really liked this one. I don't have anything else to say about it, but :p .
3. I liked this but the house in the background really put me off. Did you try doing a close up of the droplets? Or you could have gone closer to the plant's base and just pointed the camera straight up. I think that could have been cool. I also am wondering what it would have looked like with a different sky in the background. Right now the sky is so bleak.
4. This isn't the best photo. The house in the background is what you focused on and it doesn't look like you meant to do that. It looks like you were trying to get whatever plant is near the ground. Because it looks like this I don't really have anything that I know my eyes should be focusing on and it turns into a 'blah' photo.

Hey there! I like your photos! True, the first one came out of the blue, but I loved the sixth one! The plant with a bud growing is really captivating. The color and shade of the photo was pretty good. The picture with the house in the background...just to say, the house was a bit random too. Overall, I really liked it! Keep it up and good job!
