I like this a lot! The tree is great - I love how it seems to blend into itself - and the background is realistic and painting-like at the same time. The light is also well done. The one and only thing that bothered me was that the people's skin seemed to lack texture and detail in a very detailed piece. I don't know if that was on purpose or not - it certainly doesn't ruin the picture - but I couldn't help but notice it. Overall, though, this piece is really great!
"We need not to be let alone. We need to be really bothered once in a while. How long is it since you were really bothered? About something important, about something real?"
Nice, If I where you I would be very happy with his result. I could totally see this in a game for some reason. I might post something for 100 themes too. You have done this on the computer right? I'm no expert on computer manipulated art but I do love the background. Looks real yet surreal. Although I do have issues with the tree in the foreground, It doesn't look right. The texture is not 'tree like', I understand bark is very hard to draw but it just need more colors and more realistic tone. Although I do like the blurring of the edges.
I love the figures, you have captured emotion perfectly. Generally well formed bodies. Great hair, I'm very fussy about hair but this is nice hair. The clothes could do with a little detail, maybe wider shoulders, a more realistic build but apart from that real perfect.
Hi there! Wow! You're picture is amazing! The glowing lanterns in the dark made me feel like those two are the only ones in the world. It gave me a medieval feeling, with a Romeo and Juliet touch. Sneaking off together to see eachother at night. It's really amazing! The background looks really creepy at night... I like it Amazing job and keep it up!
Hi! I don't really post much on pieces of art because, although I do a little drawing, I don't really know the first thing about it! Anyways, I just wanted to let you know how much I loved this...Hayden was right: the tones were warm and inviting, and they really drew me into the picture. It was really lovely! *like* ~ Alia
Hello there. I'm not one hundred percent in love with this one. And I'm unsure of what media you used. The proportions were just a bit off and the faces weren't quite aligned with the heads, if that makes sense. Overall its a solid piece, it just needs a little bit of work. The lighting was fantastic though.
