It was so much to take in! Too much! The urge to run through the forest hit me full force. So basically, I was some mythological creature that in NO possible way could exist? Yeah...I guess its a good thing I don't have many friends. At school, I was put off as a loner, someone who people generally didn't talk to unless they didn't know any better. At least I wouldnt have to worry about anyone learning my secret! I missed my mom & dad A LOT though... How in the world could they have known?! Were they...werewolves?

I began slowly walking towards the forest. I picked up my pace after a few steps into a trog. I finally got impatient with that too and went into a full out sprint, running at lightning speed. Immedietly, I heard the paw steps of multiple wolves following after me. 'My pack,' I stated protectively in my mind. I glanced back to see Ronex, the closest of all of them, to my right. It was clear on his face that he was struggling to keep up with me. After a little bit, I noticed he was gaining on me. Adrenaline pumped through my veins as I ran faster than anything I'd ever experienced.

When I looked back again, I only saw a puff of fiery red color far off. If I hadn't known better, I'd think it was a small fire. I grinned, exposing my deadly sharp fangs. I flew through the forest, my paws barely ever touching the ground. When they did, they were soaring through the air again by the time I'd felt it. The scents of the forest bombarded my nose but it didn't slow me down at the least. I ran for a long time like that until I felt a slight burn in my muscles. I took in a deep, long breath, slowing down enough to be brought back to earth. I exhaled and eased my way into a walk. I sat down when I came to a full stop. Facing the direction I'd come from, I waited for my pack. About a minute went by and I started getting fidgety. Then 3 minutes went by... 7 minutes... 10 minutes... It was taking them WAY too long.

I finally got back up, stretching my back out. I gulped down the air but caught no scents. It took me a little to realize that I was in human form and that was why my senses were dulled. I sighed and began walking, rocks stabbing at my soft feet. My stomach growled softly, as did I in frustration. Where was my pack?! I walked freely through the forest for a while. I wasn't sure what time it was, only that the sun was beginning to go down. This was another reason why I liked the forest, It had no time. I felt no need to cover my bare body up; the forest made me feel free, like I was a part of nature. When the sun had fully disappeared from the sky and all that was left was it's golden hue, I began to feel as if someone or something was watching me. It wasn't a subtle feeling, like I was being paranoid but one of those feelings that sent ice cold shivers down my spine. Fear had its steel grip on my heart and it knew it. My hands flittered up quickly to cover my exposed body. 'Ok, Where in the world was my frickin' pack!?' I thought, frantically.

"CRACK!" A twig snapped loudly, filling my ears. It seemed like it came from right behind me! I didn't take the chance to look and see if it was something deadly or a mere squirrel, I just ran. I tripped multiple times, ran as fast as I possibly could but no matter how hard or fast I ran, the feeling was still there. The cracking twigs stayed right behind me. My mind was too overclouded by fear to think clearly or even consider that I could turn into a gigantic wolf. My toe jammed up against a root and I fell to the ground, twisting my ankle painfully. Searing pain shot up my leg from my ankle as I got up. I gasped lightly and winced, stumbling against a tree for support. Really fast healinh, like in movies would be handy right now... I thought about running but winced, eben imagining running with my ankle hurting this bad made me squeal in pain. I swallowed, trying to get rid of that lump caused by fear in my throat. It didn't move anywhere. If I was to die today, I might as well do it nobly... I took in a giant breath, and spoke.

"W-Who's there?" My voice was raspy. "Come Out-t." After a few seconds, the sound of popping and cracking filled the air. 'What the...? Is that me?! Oh crap.' I thought. But when I looked down, I was still my human self. Everything became silent for a little when the sounds stopped. I looked around in fear, huddled against the tree.

"I'm right here," A deep voice boomed through the forest. I skipped about 7 heartbeats when I heard the voice so close. I'd jumped in surprise and landed on my ankle the wrong way, making more spurts of pain hit me. I was about to fall but two rough hands caught me by the waist. I screamed but it came out as a sqeak. I limped over to the nearest tree as fast as possible without falling. When I turned around, there stood a guy with long jet black hair that covered his eyes, He was really tall, and, let me say, he was... RIPPED! He had about 75,479,239 pack abs (If that was even possible!), his arms were bulging with muscle as were his legs... That's when I noticed he was nakey... I ignored that little spot of him and went back to admiring the muscle. He. Was. BEAUTIFUL!

My mind struggled for something to say and all that came out was, "Uhh... Um... You... Uh..."
"Yes...?" He looked so innocent, like he hadn't been the one STALKING me.
"Why were you following me?!" I shouted, louder than meaning to. He shrugged his shoulders like stalking someone had been the most casual thing ever.
"Cause... You should join my pack." I looked at him weird then realized something. He could be part of the Blood Fang pack! I need to get out of here! I began to run, very lopsided though. My ankle was probably swollen to the size of a hippo by now! All of a sudden, I was jerked back by a steel grip on my wrist. I collided into something that felt like a wall... It was a little too squishy to be one though. I looked up to see creeper guy once more. This time, his eyes were visible through his thick hair. They were a bright golden that seemed to captivate me. My thoughts became more clouded and I wasn't able to think straight.

All I knew was that there was a beautiful guy standing in front of me in the forest who I badly wanted to kiss... The tips of his lips pulled up into a sexy smile, like he was happy with himself. Everything else around us became invisible, the only things that existed in this world were both him and myself. The spell was instantly broken as he blinked. In that second, I realized the whole situation. Panic gripped my heart once again. I pulled my lips back in a horrified expression that was filled with fear. I pushed him with all my power. All I saw was him flying back about a foot in the air because by that time, I was already a wolf soaring through the forest.

To accept life is to accept the fate it comes with- we were born to die.
So why not make the best of what we've been given with the short time we have on earth?
I like to live every day to it's fullest. (: And writing helps me do that...

I liked this! There are a couple spelling errors that look like just easy typing mistakes, but otherwise I think you did a really good job. I like your descriptions and imagery and slight comic-relief with the main character's opinion. At the same time I could understand and feel what the character was going through as I was reading it. It kept me captivated, which is excellent.

Keep writing!

Just coming in on chapter 9, I'm definatly going ot have to go back and read what's happened before. I like that it is written in first person and that the narrative is more colloquial, it shows the protags character really well. I do get a sense of urgency from how quickly everything is happening and there is good action in there, but a few more concrete and expressive details would be nice. For example, if all of her senses are either heightened or dulled depending on what form she is in it would give us a better sense of place and what's going on if those senses were fleshed out. Details of the smells of the forest, how things looked different between her wolf eyes and human eyes. She said she didn't notice having changed back into human form but that seems like it would be a significant difference to not have noticed.

I'm looking forward to going back though and reading the rest of the novel, so I can get teh full premise and find out more about the characters.
