History: Jack was always different as a boy. He liked to get into fights with other kids, even if he wasn't involved. He'd fight your fight for you. He got in trouble alot, but it taught him that everybody has their price. no exceptions.

Why your in Marathon: Jack was sent to assassinate some of the army's brass, but in a car crash, was knocked out and forgot his job to kill a general. He only knows his name and that he has a car somewhere in the town and it is loaded to the brim with weapons. He wants to get to them and escape, taking along anyone who is interested.

Appearance: Imagine this but with skin and a nose! (he isn't a zombie, this is a sentient ghoul from Fallout 3, like a human, but minus skin, only Jack has skin)

When do we get to start?!

The set date really isn't working out as well as I hoped, I really want a maniac and another survivor since latinoburn said he couldn't play. I'm really pumped up for it too but, I just say we wait a while longer.

I had a few ideas I also wanted to run off for everybody. I'm thinking of dividing the story into chapters, I would post the chapter at the top of one of my posts, somewhere I think would be a good break. I was also wanting to give players insight on what was happening outside of Marathon and what the army plans to do, so to incorporate that I was wanting to add a General as a type of Narrarator and possible Maniac. I would be the General but, just remember he isn't really a character yet. So everyone playing just let me know what you think and we could do some editing and some new ideas.

History: Before she was exposed to the modelling business, she used to study in a all girls private school, in France. Madeline used to stop by the elementary school beside her school to play with the children. She loves children.She often got bullied for being "too pretty" and was often accused of stealing her classmate's boyfriends. Madeline got discovered by a visiting photographer in her school. Her parents were proud of her, but only used her to get money. Whenever she refused to take a modelling job, she gets a smack on the face by her father.

Why your in Marathon: Madeline got a modelling job in Marathon and is happy to take it, since it's away from France, then ran away in the middle of the shoot. She bought an apartment with the money she earned so far.

History:
Azrael Hian Rietz is a successful German Artist who prefers to be called for his artistic name “Ian Lock”. Born on October 13th in Stuttgart, Germany, Ian is the only son of Nate Hunan Rietz, a German politician, and Zarina Vulhov, daughter of a wealthy Russian family.
At the age of nine, he moved to the UK after his mother’s murder. He lived in Manchester for nine years, until he turned 18, when he moved to New Mexico for College. (I'll develop his in-deep story through the game)
Why I'm in Marathon: Ian went to Marathon with his girlfriend and some friends to work on a photography project.
Other: He has a soft British accent, since he learned English in the UK, he talks Dutch, English, French and Spanish.
Appearance: Like this, but his skin is a little bit more pale and his eyes are blue/gray/green

Proffesion before apocalypse: Retiree

History: Born and raised in Marathon, Texas, Mark was brought up with a Bible in one hand and a Colt .45 in the other. The week he turned 18, he was drafted to serve in Vietnam. After his required tour, he served 4 more. He felt that nothing could keep him from serving his country.. that's when shrapnel from a Viet Cong mortar shell ripped through his right eye. He was honorably discharged. Because of the times, the veteran had trouble getting work anywhere. He worked in the scrapyard for a couple of years, he worked as a mail carrier, an auto-mechanic, and eventually, he just gave up and retired.
What made you snap: Entire family was killed by zombies.

Profession before apocalypse: Gas station attendant. Pothead.

History: Dirk was the kid who never gave a fuck. He never tried in class, and was always too high to care. His only talent was with computers He dropped out when he was 16 and hatched a get-rich-quick plan to hack Citibank. It didn't turn out too well. He served two years in juvie, and has since been too deep in a weed induced stupor to do anything with his life.

Why your in Marathon: Why not?
Appearance: About 5'8, skinny, with black hair and dark brown eyes. Usually dresses in jeans, a t-shirt and a black trench coat, even in warm weather.

Name: Seal Brooks

Profession before apocalypse: Librarian's assistant (part-time), Pizza Delivery (part-time)
Skill (1): Photographic Memory
Local or Outsider: Outsider
Up for love?: Yes
History: When he was thirteen, Seal's best (and only) friend described him as "hilarious and smart..but wicked awkward". This served as a spot on summary of him, as he quickly used his charm and wits to make friends...before creeping them out. His life became a loop of screwing up socially; sometimes the situation became o bad his parents had no choice but to move him away. That's how he ended up in Marathon. He transferred to the local college after a couple kids from his old Chicago college locked him inside a Port-o-Potty for almost two days. He tried to stay under the radar socially, becoming an outcast to the locals. He funded his intense love of books with two part-time jobs, both of which he got by showing off his photographic memory (navigating for pizza's and remembering book's locations). He was getting a gas refill for his Pizza Delivery bike at Sixto's Shell service station, when a pair of attendants were eaten by a wave of undead. He barely managed to escape, using a lighter (Item #1) and some spilled gas to ward off the zombies. He's now going down North 3rd Street with a full tank of gas.

Hmm, I think the chapter thing sounds organized. I think you should go with that. It could help us realize when the zombies attack, or when something else is going to happen in some "chapters". I am excited for this storybook!

History: Lived in Marathon her whole life, and obviously had to drop out of school because of the zombies, she's always been a nice person, she hates making people she's just met upset or sad, but as you get to know her she becomes a bit more, confident and sarcastic while always being up for a joke to keep spirits high.
She grew up with her Mom and older brother Darren before he moved over to Jersey, her Mom told her to go, knowing she had better chance to survive if she escaped.
She's strong, a good fighter, but often feels intimidated by other people she groups up with since she's one of the youngest.
