Adaline:
Harmonia went off to do something else where in the tent and Eris and Natalia were talking. I took this oportunity to try on costumes. In the dressing room there was a rack full of shiny, feathery leotards. I sifted through until i found one i liked. It was black with long sleves and legs and decorated with copper, black and silver sequins. I tried it on. It was tight, but, i had learned from years of dance that it was supposed to fit that way. I went to the mirror. Hairbrushes and makeup littered the vanity. I unbraided my hair and pulled it into two messy buns. I had done makeup before, at the Boarding House, for the other girls. I made my eyes wings and my lips a deep pink. When I was done I went to the silk drapes yet again. This time I grabbed both, winding them one acound my feet I climbed to the middle. I Wrapped the silk around my waist and released my feet. Then I soared. I felt like a bird, flying. I turned upside down, my feet in the air, toes pointed, arms straight out to my sides. After about half an hour I decided to come down. The silks were still wraped around my waist and I let myself fall a metre at a time. Fall a meter, stop, fall a meter, stop. Unil i could slide with my hands gently to the floor. When I was completely free of the ropes, I looked up and curtsied.

When Eris, or shall I say Morgan, made the oath, a take one last look at him before turning around( with my hair flying) and walking away. I still see Adaline and Harmonia talking, or hitting it off. I wonder if Harmonia is his real name, like how Eris was just a name for fun. I approach the drapes an looked up.
Do your best Natalia, I say to myself.

I jump on the drape and tie part of the drape around my stomach and lift myself up. I start spinning, and twirling on the drape. Wow, this is fun! I notice that I reached the top of the drape and decided that I should go down. I start to slip my way down. In the middle of my slip, my hands started getting sweaty and sore from the drapes texture and lose control. This is it. When I die. I close my eyes shut, scared until someone caught me.

(I really wanted to try some romance on her, even though she may be hard to get! Sorry if the post was sort of off, I was writing this when Emoticon's post came up)

I applauded Adaline's magnificent grace on the silk drapes. It was almost like she was a fairy from another realm. After she took her bow, I said, "Amazing. I never saw anything so great in my whole life." I looked around and asked nervously, "Can you keep a secret?"
Adaline nodded and leaned towards me.
I whispered in her ear, "I want you to know my real name. It's Max. Just Max. Harmonia is just a nickname my brother gave me."

Morgan

I saw the girl falling from the drape. With cheetah speed, I went under her and caught her before she reached the ground. I was panting a little, but I got her. I gave her the writing pad and asked, "Are you alright?"
She tried to grab the pencil, but she cringed when she did so.
I felt terrible. The drapes must've made her hands too sore to write. I took her to my half of the dressing room that Max and I shared and got a bucket of warm water. I was tempted to put itching powder in the water, but I bit my tongue to fight off the temptation. You took an oath, Morgan. Remember that. I reminded myself. I said, "Soak your hands in here. It helps with the pain. And don't worry. I didn't do anything to the water. It's clean."
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

Was I dead? I opened my eyes to see Morgan, with his hands under me. He caught me.

"Are you alright?" he asked me. I trie to grab the pencil, but I cringed, my hands too sore. Morgan, noticing this, carried me to the room where I put the rubber snake in. He set me down, then grabbed a bucket of hat water and came back. When I saw the bucket of water, I got a bit worried. Was there some sort of powder in there? I hesitated.

"Soak your hands in here. It helps with pain. And don't worry. I didn't do anything to the water. It's clean," he said with an assuring voice. I hesitate or a second, then put my hands in the water. I take a deep breath. It felt good. I wanted to say something, but I was worried that nothing would come out again.

Harmonia applauded my act. It made me feel good to know that I had done well. Then he asked if I wanted to hear a secret. In my ear he whispered, " I want you to know my real name. It's Max. Just Max. Harmonia is just a nickname my brother gave me."

Max. Simple and sweet. Max, from German, meaning greatest. I smiled. Then we hear an odd sound. I turned around to see Natalia slipping from the silk drapes to be caught by Eris. Even from here I could see the problem. Her hands and arms weren't accustomed to that kind of force. Eris took her to his dressing room. Probably to soak her hands. I ran back to the dressing room and took off my makeup. I looked around for crushed chalk. They must've had crushed chalk. I found it in a little bag in a drawer. Then, I ran to Max and Eris' dressingroom.
"I know you can't talk so I'll talk and I'll only ask yes or no questions sound good?"
She nodded.
"Ok, are you feeling REALLY bad?" I thought about that, "Nevermind. Heres the thing, Calluses need to build up on your hands and your biceps need to be worked more, ok?"
I held up the bag of chalk. "This will help until the calluses develop but it will still hurt."

While I was soaking my hands, Adaline rushes inside. She had a little bag with her.

"Ok, are you feeling REALLY bad? Nevermind. Here's the thing, Calluses need to build up on your hands and your biceps need to be worked more, ok?" she said. I nod. She holds up a bag of chalk.

"This will help the calluses develop but it will still hurt," she continued. I give her a confused look. Was she going to apply the chalk on me?! I look from Morgan to Adaline with the same look I have now, indicting that I don't understand.

Natalia looked like she didn't understand a thing, but what got me suspisious was that she looked at Morgan first. I decided to interrogate him. I said, "Adaline, just talk to Natalia for a while. My big brother and I need to talk in private." Once we were at the highrope, I hissed, "Start talking, Morgan. What did you do to Natalia?"
Morgan said, "I did nothing to her, Little Brother. She was hurt and I wanted to help her get better. I even took an oath that I wouldn't prank her or Adaline ever again. So far, I never broke the oath."
I said, "It's not like you to take an oath and keep to it. In all my years with you, I made you take an oath and you bust it every time. Why should I believe that you took an oath and didn't bust it this time?"
Morgan growled, "Ask Natalia. Ask her if I took an oath and tell her to write the oath I took. Ask her if you don't believe me."
I slid down a drape and went to the dressing room. I said to Natalia, "Once you're able to write again, I want you to tell me if Eris took an oath. If he did, tell me his oath word for word."
Look down and show some mercy if you can.

"Adaline, talk to Natalia for a while. My big brother and I need to talk in private," Harmonia said before dragging Morgan outside. Me and Adaline looked at eachother while webheard constant bickering. Adaline sighed.

"Don't mind them," She said as she sat next to me. I sighed. After a while, Morgan and Harmonia returned and Harmonia marched up to me.

"Once you're able to write again, I want you to tell me if Eris rook an oath. If he did, tell me his oath word for word," he said. I nodded frantically, since I didn't want to start any more trouble.

"Harmonia, calm down," Adaline said.

Adaline:
Natalia didn't understand the chalk, I could see it on her face. Max and eris excused themselves to talk and I took the opportunity to explain the chalk.
"Chalk. It keeps your hands from sweating so you have more grip. This will help both your hands and biceps. I'll show you." I put some of the chalk dust on my hands and walked over to a horizontal beam. I reached my hands over the top and began doing pull ups. Pulling up until the base of my neck touched the beam. Then I jumped down.
Max and Eris re-entered the room and Max looked pissed.
"Once you're able to write again, I want you to tell me if Eris took an oath. If he did, tell me his oath word for word."
I was taken aback at his tone.
"Uh...Harmonia, hun...Whats the matter?"

When the twins entered the room, Harmonia looked very angry, which made Adaline worried.

"Uh, Harmonia, Hun... What's the matter?" she asked. I look to Harmonia, who stayed silent or a while. I take my hands out and sees a few bumps on both my hands, I sigh. I try to grab a pencil, which kinda hurt, but luckily I succeed. Harmonia, Adaline, and Morgan stood, staring at my writing hand. I hold up the writing pad, hands kind of shaking.

I'm tired. Please excuse me, I'd like to sleep. Adaline, you look tired. You should sleep too. Good night. I stand up, leaving everyone and head to our room. I quickly change into some baggy clothes and lie down. After a few minutes I quickly fall to sleep.

I took a breath and said calmly, "Natalia, you might have to excuse me and Adaline for a few minutes. Private business to take care of."
Adaline followed me to the cannon, no doubt concerned about my tone of voice at Natalia.
I calmed down and said calmly, "Eris told me he didn't do anything to Natalia. Said he took an oath that he wouldn't prank you or Natalia ever again. I've known him all my life and not once did he keep to an oath that I made him take. Every time someone's around him, he makes it clear that he can't be trusted. He's a very good liar as well as a master trickster. Natalia has to give me some piece of evidence that Eris really took an oath. If Natalia's word matches Eris' word, then I'll let it go."

Morgan

When Max excused himself and Adaline for a private talk, I went to Natalia nervously. I told her, "I need you to tell my little brother that truth. He knows me his whole life, so he has his reasons not to trust me."
Natalia looked confused.
I confessed. "Harmonia and I have a bit of a bad history together. We may be twin brothers, but ever since our mother died and our father kicked us out of the house Harmonia got serious with me. Normally that's supposed to be the elder sibling, but he and I have been polar opposites since birth. He knows I'm chaotic, hence the nickname Eris. I know he's more of an organized person, hence his nickname Harmonia. I never pranked him after I pulled that costume prank. He and I were young, but ever since that costume prank I took an internal oath to not prank my little brother. That's why I don't prank him as much as I prank others."

"Oh..." I nodded, "Well my dear, it looks to me like hes taken a shine to her, I think he'd promise her anything and keep it just to see her smile."
I took his hand and kissed the back of it. Then led him back into the room.

When Harmonia excused himself and Adaline outside for a talk, Morgan approached me nervously. I could tell that he had something important he really wanted to say, but is worried.

I look at him with an astonished face and stood up when Harmonia and Adaline came into the room.

"What's wrong, Natalia?" She asked. I take a deep breath and close my eyes.

"I swear on my mother's grave that I will not pull a prank on you or Adaline. Dare I break this oath, let a tiger eat me and my soul burn in the fires of Hades," I said. Everyone around me looked surprised.

"Wh-what?" Harmonia asked, with a surprised tone.

"That's the oath he took, now if you can stop bothering me, I'd like to be alone," I said before walking away to me and Adaline's room and just sitting there.

That night

I waited for Max to fall asleep so I could spend some private time on the highrope. I looked down and began to look back to when Max and I were a family. We were in the library, reading whatever we got our hands on. Mother was at her office with Max sitting on the floor. I was reading a fantasy book, glancing at Mother and Max every so often to be sure nothing went wrong. Max came up to me and said, "Eris, Mother wants us to see her." He sounded worried.
I came to Mother, who was sitting there on her chair with her hand on her breast. I paniced and said frightenedly, "Mother! What's wrong, Mother?"
Mother said sickly, "I don't think I'm going to make it. I want you to do something for me, Eris."
I leaned forward and listened to Mother's instructions. I tried to comfort her, but Mother was gone before I even got my chance. Both Max and I went to our father for help, but he refused to let us in the house. Holding back a fury, I snuck in the house through the window and got what Mother instructed me to grab. By the time I returned to the alley where I left Max, we were on the run. We managed ourselves into the cirque and found the highrope as our passion.
Back into the present, I dug out of my shirt and produced a piccolo that was one of Mother's greatest treasures. Taking a breath, I played Mother's piccolo passionately. This I always do in secret, in remembrance of my beloved mother.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.
