So I haven't had time to post anything in a while so I thought I'd dump all my stuff here. I'd love to hear your comments, as always, even if you're just telling me which ones you love/hate.

This is one of my more recent ones that I did while I was on bedrest with pneumonia. I had to take several naps while I was doing this but I'm happy with the result.

I tried to do a more realistic style by copying a character from Final Fantasy. Of course it ended up looking nothing like him, but I think I'm improving. I experimented with drawing in shades of gray before overlaying it with color.

Just another style I'm trying. This was based off of a real photo.

This one I hardly spent any time on. I was just restless and couldn't go to bed. Probably took me about an hour.

The reference I used here was actually of a blone girl blowing a bubble, but I decided to totally change things around and made it into an anime guy.Image

So sorry if this is a ton to review, but I'd love some comments! Thanks.

Yeah, so your my first person's work I commented on in a long time!

Oh my gosh!! They are amazing!!!
I love them all!!
I love the anime guy eyes!
What did you use to do them?
Charlie Bucket: You can eat the grass?
Willy Wonka: Of course you can! Everything in this room is eatable, even *I'm* eatable! But that is called "cannibalism," my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies.

A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes. I screamed aloud as it tore through them and now it's left me blind.

Hey Sheep,

Well first of all my absolute favorite is your fourth one. I love all the details, especially her eyes. Actually, you've done a nice job on the eyes in all of these. I also like the first one, except that the shape of the hair isn't totally realistic. The second and third are nice, but not my favorites. For the last one, think about when you blow a bubble, how your mouth looks. Do your lips disappear? Are you puckering them?

Overall nice work and I'm sorry I don't have more to say!

Hello BlackSheep,

I agree it has been a while since you posted any of your pictures and I literally jumped for joy when I saw your name on the list! You are a fantastic artist and I hope you keep on posting your art! Generally these were really good and I like your art style a lot it is very neat and I like how good you are doing art on the computer.

Number One:
The hair is very high on one side and to me it just sticks out a bit awkwardly, personally I think this drawing would be a little bit better if you flattened that a bit. The color on the hair is great though and the eyes are also brilliant, I like the deep shades and mix of colors. The top and necklace is also good and stands out nicely against the tone of the skin.

Number Two (B&W+color):
I liked the spunky hair and the way you managed to shade it, even using only black and white. I do think the nose isn't right though, it is to skinny at the bottom and it doesn't really change shape at all. The face also looks a bit dark and expressionless. It is still very good and I liked this a lot.

Number Three:
This was my favorite one of the bunch and I particularly liked the hair and eyes. The only problem I could find with this was the angle of the body. The left shoulder looked completely out of place and didn't look like realistic compared to the rest of the picture. Apart from that it was good.

Number Four:
Anime, yay! I loved this one, simply because it is a good display of anime artwork. I liked the innocent face and the good portioning of the body. The only criticism I can think of is to change the background color because it is very dull and a bit boring compared to the rest of the picture.

Number Five:
This was a nice one to finish off with, it is simple and you have captured the expression very well. I have not a single thing in this that I can criticize about and I think you have done well with this. Keep on doing the epic art we all feel sad when BlackSheep doesn't post art!

Hello,
I doubt you will take the time to look at this signature, you are all busy people and I respect that, but if you do know this. Every bit of criticism on my writing has helped and every bit of advice you have given me has also helped. So thank you, for everything.

Yo! It has been a while. For both you posting and me reviewing. As you know, I'm definitely not the most detailed reviewer, but I'll give you my thoughts anyways.

#1: I love, love, love her! You were always great at hair before, but I think you got it to look softer now, more real. The bump in her hair really does bother me - it's kind of distracting - and I'm not sure what would make it do that. But I like the tip of the hair a lot, where it was cut. It's very feathery looking... The colors in this piece work well together. Ooh, I love the necklace and her shirt, too. It might just be me, but maybe her arm is a little skinny?

#2 (colored and b/w): Hmm... I'm not an expert on drawing realistic elements of the face, but I was thinking his nose might be a little slim, like he has no nostrils. No, wait, never mind. I'm looking again and I can see the shadows... I always have the worst time with lips, so I have no idea about them. They look good, though. The coloring, also, really completes the piece.

#3: Love, love, love her expression. And her eyes, too.

#4: So cute! Kawaii! I like that you left it sort of unfinished. It's pretty.

#5: I'm sorry, but this looks like a girl to me. I think it's the shirt that does it. But, I love the eyes. They're almost... glowing. Cool.

Eh... sorry I wasn't much help! You keep getting better and better and I really, really need to get a tablet one of these days...

Which final fantasy character? Oooh, I want to guess. Zidane? Vaan? Also, awesome.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Aloha! Hola! Hello! Ello-Hay! Other forms of greeting!

BLARGH! I hate it when people are so good at drawing that I don't have much to say.... cause how am I supposed to get points that way? :) I KID! I KID! (Did you notice that rhymed? Yeah, I had to work on that..... :P)

Oops, back on track now!

Picture NUMERO UNO:
See at first I was confused, cause I thought that you said SHE was a dude. And I spent like 20 minutes trying to envision that... with no result, but then I moved on and saw the next picture and yeah... revelation! But anyways, I really like her hair and how it like, (for lack of a better word) fades? The only thing that bothers me, and this is most likely just me and my petty problems, are her lips. Cause it's just like this SPACE with an outline and and and, I don't know. It looks like her upper lip disappeared after the bottom one murdered it so it could be sole controller of her mouth, crazy I know.

Picture NUMERO DOS:
Nothing much to say, just one question. How did you get this picture to seem so so so like animation? Like HOW? Yup, good job! :)

Picture NUMERO TRES:
Kay, uhhh her lip is smudged. But you probably knew that, and uhhh her nose is a bit too round, but once again that's just my preference and stuff playing in. Yeah, smudged lip, that's about it. :P

Picture NUMERO FOUR (I forgot how to say it...):
I know you said that you didn't spend much time on this one, but.... I think I like the style of it. How the lines are like really loose, it's just a nice picture. The colors, the girl's position, it all adds to the whole thing. And actually I think this is my favorite. :)

Picture NUMERO CINCO:
I can see how it started out as a girl, it's just. I don't know, I get it. But then I get the guy thing too, and I find it funny that guy is blowing bubbles cause really... when was the last time you saw that? But I love it, and this picture makes me laugh. But not like "haha that picture is horrible" laugh, like "haha I think it's funny that a dude is doing that cause I can use this picture to imagine my grandpa doing this and oh..." yeah! OKAY I'M DONE!

Great job! You're a good artist! Keep it up and stuff! And I guess I found stuff to say after all..... :P
