Maybe I appreciate excellent poetry more than I can appreciate excellent prose because I'm not good at writing poetry. Maybe it's that you can convey much more in a poem than you can in a story. Well, that's probably not always the case. But regardless, I thought this was a magnificently beautiful poem. It had a great flow to it, you used the perfect words to say certain things, and you were really in touch with the feelings of a human being to make something that was really truly, real.
Some say
I'm desperate, but
underneath these clothes
and that flesh cell,
you're as lonely
as me,
love.
Truly, some of the greatest lines of poetry I've ever read. I read this poem over a few times, and these last lines get me every time. Keep up the great work!
