Hmm, a section devoted to photography? I've found my happy place! :D Well, actually, the whole site is so far, but that's beside the point...

1. When I took this one, the sky looked entirely different. My camera isn't the best quality, so I guess the colors didn't come out exactly.

2. I intentionally tweaked this one.

3. Took this from the car, going down the highway (my housemate was doing the driving, of course).

Hi there.

These are really good. I really love the second one, that you tweaked. What impressed me the most are the really bold colours in the phots, and they have a relly good contrast with the tree branches. I think the third one was the least impressive , only becuace it didn't have the great contrast that the dead tree branches had. Besides that, fantastic job.
I can't explain myself, I'm afraid, Sir, because I'm not myself you see.

Okay that was awesome I'm not a great photographer but your gift for knowing when to take a picture is apparent. I especially enjoyed your focus on the sky and trees. While I feel like the tweaked one i would have rather seen in blue I liked the orange very sunset feel. Have you considered doing some pictures of landscape like during the day. I think they would be rather excellent.

Wow! You're photo's are amazing! Brilliant shots!! I think the first one is the best and it looks great just the way it is!
If you want to be a great writer, don't think about what you're going to write, just write it.

I'm a huge fan of writers block! When your brain halts, with no direction for where you should go, it gives you threads. All you have to do is pull and unravel the story you're meant to write.

Thanks, folks. Glad you liked them. :D

And, as per Daniel's request, I posted the blue trees and scrounged up sort of a landscape taken during the daytime.

I love them all !! Wow, just woah. My favourite would probably be number 3, I don't know why. But I don't really like the last two, I mean they aren't bad. I just don't like the unnatural look with the blue in number 6.
Very great work.

Hello there. :)

1- This is good, but I think that the roof in the bottom left corner is a little bit distracting. You should probably crop the bottom part so it's gone.

2- I really like this one. Although it looks a lot like the other pictures you've taken, the orange/yellow sky is just amazing with the tree branches. I think it makes a great contrast. :)

3- This one is okay again, but I feel like I've already seen this a few times. The colors are still good, and you captured the moment great.

4- I have the feeling it's cold out there. ;) So the colors are great, and I'm not sure if it was actually cold out when you took the picture, but it still gives us that message through the colors and I think it's great.

5-Black and white, yay! I looove black and white. :) I think you could play with the contrast a little bit more in this one though.

6- Again, the contrast is great in this one as well. It does not feel quiet normal though, but I still like it a lot. :)

7- I like this one as well. I love the little house/ barn or whatever it is. It's really cute. I also like how you've angled it, so the focal point was off to the side and not in the smack center.

You did a good job!

Wow. They are beautiful; my favourite ones are numbers 1, 2 and 6.

I never would have thought that trees would be this interesting.

Please, please keep it up :)

Hi there, I'm a fellow photographer myself, so hopefully I'll be able to give you some advice.
None of these are very experimental, in fact, they're far from it. Skies aren't particulary exciting, so you have to really be selective and a good editor to make sure they don't look rubbish.
The first one I'd bin straight away. It immediately looks over processed and weird.
The second one is very boring. Oh some trees and a bit of orange. Not exactly the most exciting picture in the world plus the rule of thirds has been ignored.
The third one is my favourite. Just make sure you increase blacks so the highway is completely black, increase saturation a little... then it'll be lovely. Also upping clarity will make the clouds nicer to look at and more defined.
The others are again, quite boring. The blue trees one is very over edited.

Have a look at my sunset photos on my flickr (found in the nature set), to see how they should be laid out and edited.

Hopefully this didn't come across as too harsh

I loved them all! My favorites were one and six. The blue looked really good on that picture, since the tree is bare nad hwen I usually think of bare trees I think of winter and blue is another thing that reminds me of winter. :) I thought the first one was also very interesting and whether you were trying to capture something different or not, it looked interesting, and warm, yet mysterious.

I would be the happiest sister in the world if you taught me about photography.
I want to take a class in high school and possibly major in it if I can have multiple majors in college?

Hi Payne!

These are some gorgeous shots! I take photos of nature, so this is my home turf! XD

Each Photo

#1. Wow. By far my favourite! I love the colour of the clouds, blue and pink. It's really cool, and you've made the trees look really spooky! Is that the atmosphere you wanted?

#2. OK, I'll admit I don't know much about this kind of photo. I think it'd be nice if their was, maybe, a little bit of a range of greens? I love the shape of the trees though. Were they supposed to be black? I liked that though, it's nice against a bright colour!

#3. Correction, THIS is my favourite. I love the straight lines of the sky, that tower in the distance and how you can see the motorway (I'm British, that's what we call it here :) ) faintly and the lights of that car. It's a really nice shot. Is that a town in the distance too? If those are the outlines of buildings, that's really nice. Great photo!

#4. Yes, it is awesome though! I know this would've been impractical, but if you could've moved so that the cloud with the sunlight reflecting was straight ahead of you and you were at a high place so you could see the canopy of the trees... XD

#5. It's... I don't know, but it feels a little bland and depressing. Maybe it's because of the colour of the sky? Maybe if you didn't cut off so much of the tree then it would've been a little more interesting...

#6. Ooh, this one's weird! I love the range of blues of the sky. Of course, the sky IS blue (unless you're in my world where the sky is filled with flying dolphins), but I liked how you made it bright. It's pretty good! :D

#7. I really liked this. I'd have liked to see more of the shed thing, but I love how there seems to be two trees with one midway in the air with the leaves hanging down. It's really nice!

Overall
Overall, I love these photos! They're really good for an experiment! Keep it up!

Keep Snappin'!
