the dance of death

I enter the light,
and find his spirit,
glowing among many.

I twine my arms,
around his neck,
and he rests his hands,
on my hips.

Without a word,
we start to move.
His body warm,
my heart content.

Warmth floods
through my soul.
A single spotlight,
just for us.

No music, all silence,
and our bodies moving together.
Spinnig and dipping,
gliding and twirling,
across the sky.

We stop now,
our mezmerizing routine over.
He gazes at me sadly,
'I love you' He murmers sofly,
'but why did you kill yourself for me?'

We finally had,
our chance to dance.
Too bad it took,
two deaths.

The destrucition of two lives,
a murder,
and a suicide,
to get it.

Aww... it's so happy, but so sad at the same time. I really like it. So, I'm pretty sure that the guy got murdered, and she commited suicide to be with him? Is that right?

I think this had a really nice rhythm, and it flowed very well. My favorite part was, "His body warm/ his heart content." I don't know why, it just really stood out to me.

I don't have much else to say, except that I really liked this. I got mostly a happy feeling from this, but it was that kind of happy you can cry about.

I really liked this poem, but it made me sad. I think it was bueatiful and very touching that the girl died just to be with the love of her life! Great job! :)
