This is rather good. However, the picture needs to be formatted correctly, I can't even see the entire thing without zooming out a ridiculous amount. Did you draw that picture?
I am nothing but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's or maybe like pocket candy that's just a bit too sweet.
Oooh I like this :3 So pretty. I like how it's so dramatic, and of course we all know that drama goes along with writers wonderfully. I think perhaps this little words could be in a more interesting font, or maybe placed differently. I don't know, I just think the little text looks a bit unproffesional as it is. It could just be me.
I love the blue and the purple, though! I can see the canvas behind the paint, but I think I like how that looks...

hmm.. the drawing adds dramatic effect but the fonts was somewhat small, i think you can also change the color of the letters to add more effects.. but i totally love it!!

Thanks for all the positive feedback! yeah, I did submit it, (I think) but I was only aware of the contest six hours before the deadline! So, I took two previous drawings and mashed 'em together for a mixed media effect. Yeah, I wanted to do something special with the text too, but there wasn't anything I could do with two hours left that would look proffessional and cool- so I kept it spartan. And sorry about the ridiculous image formating, I didn't know how to resize it! Thanks! (and yes I did draw and paint the entire picture, minus the words. If the couple seems familiar, it's because it's a charcoal sketch of the famous kiss in times square when WWII was finally ended. )

First of all, I I love how you blend the colors. I couldn't say anything bad about it. XD
Let's move on to the drawing- the highlight of the book cover. I love the sketching, the two couples doing their thing... BUT, that's not appropriate for any age. I don't want you to feel bad but can you imagine an eleven-years-old asking his mom to buy the YWLJ with that "sensual" drawing? What would his mother say? Perhaps, if you had changed the art, somewhat any child can relate to. It can be a dancing couple or anything that's child-friendly... kissing? Just no.
I hope you don't see this review harsh or anything at all. >.< Anyways, I adore the message written on the cover. It's true to all aspiring writers. ^^
