Spoiler
Not the most cheerful of poems I admit but it needs reviewing so here we are! Thanks in advance :)

For as sure as the wind blows,
Your lifetime has passed,
As sure as the moon glows,
Your memory will last.

As sure as the light shines,
there will be darkness again,
As sure as the sun shines,
There must also be rain.

For you are the wind,
The moon, rain and sun.
And the journey for you,
Has only begun.’

What do you mean? It's beautiful! Well, it's not the most cheerful, but it's definitely not depressing. It's hopeful and realistic. Just wondering, though, if you intended to put the apostrophe at the very end? :-P
Shakespearian tongue-twister:

To sit in solemn silence
In a dark, dank dock
In a pestilential prison
With a lifelong lock;
Awaiting the sensation
Of a short, sharp shock
Of a cheap, chippy chopper
On a big black block.

I really love this. It's beautiful and the echoing adds a great effect. No criticisms here! Bravo!

I liked it except there was one little thing you can change.

As sure as the light shines,
there will be darkness again,
As sure as the sun shines,
There must also be rain.

A little redundant there, the light shines and the sun shines, and you're rhyming the exact same word, you might want to change that. Other than that, no other criticisms. Great work, I loved it! Keep Writing!

I found this poem excellent. It flows quite nicely and is well written. I can't find anything in this poem that could be improved. You did a wonderful job.

Hello my Ally! You say this piece needs reviewing... but I cannot agree. Good structure, no flaws neither when it comes to flow nor rythm. Even with my looking-glasses on I couldn't find any grammatical errors and you DID use punctuation so all is well. Sure, it wasn't the most cheerful piece maybe but I still thought it was beautiful and it wasn't THAT depressing :P All I can say is that this came very close to perfect and I'll give you 5/5 spiders.

Good Luck & Keep Writing

"Some say the world will end in fire;
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice." - Robert Frost

This is a really beautiful piece. The flow and the rhythm was flawless. The theme was quite good, a mixture of sadness and hope combined. I especially liked the stanza,
" As sure as the light shines,
there will be darkness again,
As sure as the sun shines,
There must also be rain."
The way it says that good things don't last forever and the bad things come to an end.
A really good read, I must say. Keep going :)
If you are a dreamer, come in,
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar,
A hope-er, a pray-er, a magic bean buyer...
If you're a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax-golden tales to spin.
Come in!
Come in!
- Shel Silverstein
