Spoiler
For DramaLlama's "Word is Stronger than a Thousand Pictures" contest. She gave me the word twin, and I though of my sisters. They are six-year-old twins. I see them every single day and love them to pieces, so this should be easy enough. :-D Yep, it's another sonnet.

They seem like more than simply relatives
(From the same mother and father) and true
They each have completely different motives,
They share more than sisters normally do.

They share a birthday, just minutes apart.
They share an annoyance only six-year-
Old's have. Both ready to run and to dart
Wherever they can. Neither of them fear

Anything they are told is a danger.
They hold hands as they climb rocks, up and down.
Saying they're shy, but talking to strangers,
Giving phone numbers out with ne'er a frown.

My sisters, the twins, they will never cease
To confuse me, for they're such silly geese.

:-D :-D Yep, that's my sisters.
Shakespearian tongue-twister:

To sit in solemn silence
In a dark, dank dock
In a pestilential prison
With a lifelong lock;
Awaiting the sensation
Of a short, sharp shock
Of a cheap, chippy chopper
On a big black block.

I'm not a real big fan of formal poetry, but this made me smile. :) I don't know much about the rules of sonnets or about iambic pentameter and whatnot, so any advice I would normally give you would probably screw it up. :P All I can say is great job. :)

He's very pretty. See? See how pretty he is? He's VERY pretty.

Awww...I wish all sisters could be as close as this! Lovely poem, you capture the emotion well :)
The words you write reflect your soul. Make every word count.
