I really like the description of Kaia starting it off, it tells some, and it doesn't over give information either. Very nice!

I love Michael, very flirty almost cocky in a way, but really deeper than that. I don't know, I love his descriptions too.

Overall I really liked this chapter a lot, a good description in every nook and cranny, you learn a little bit about each character.

Very well written, I can't wait for the next chapter!

Keep writing,

I read it. All was well and good throughout the whole thing, and it was nice to read a steady, maturely-written piece.

From writing, I've realized that readers- no matter who they are- tend to have very short attention spans. The slightest errors (confusing sentence or two, big word, lengthy chapter, etc.), and their concentration is broken. And yet, you were able to get past my ADD with a consistent pace and nice descriptions, so good job there!

Another thing I noticed was that the interactions between your characters were superb, and I think that this story practically leans on the characters' interactions. So, I would admonish you to always make your characters interact at the same level as this chapter, so that your novel has the same healthy progression it's always had.

A criticism I have is this: Change the attitude for a bit! Whenever I read this, I'm able to humor the characters, but I'm always brought down into their tight predicaments and down-to-earth outlooks. Show them having fun, or doing what they love the most, so that I'm able to tap into their energy, instead of their "anti-energy", you know? Just a suggestion.

So, at this club where they're going, make a few happy notes and show these people at their funnest. Other than that, keep it up and don't change a thing!
