I was only a young girl
When you where taken to hospital - 'where' is pointing to a place, you mean 'were' to show the past tense for 'are'
You needed to be fixed,
because you where sad.
I was only a young girl
when hugged me tight
your arms wrapped in bandages,
I didn't understand.
I was only a young teen
when you told me those stories,
horror stories, - I suggest you put commas to show that the stories you meant were 'horror stories'; commas can be used as parenthesis inside a sentence.
involving your mum and your dad.
I was so young and naive- you can put either a period or a comma to make a pause although comma would be better.
I never had a clue
that our world was so evil,
so full of bad.
It was only this year
When you came down to visit
and you turned to me and said, - comma to show that you're saying a dialogue.
"these dogs are all that I have". - capitalize
I looked away,
Just so you you wouldn't notice
My eyes full of tears
I have never been so sad.
I love you so much aunty,
although sometimes It may be hard to see - you don't need to capitalize the 'i'
But those dogs aren't all you have
no Aunty, because deep down you know,
You will always have me. -full stop to indicate the end of the poem.
