So I decided to share a few pictures I took recently, I would love your opinion on them and suggestions to improve! Thanks :)

This is a couple edits I did of the same photo, ignore the over-sharpness. Which one do you like best and why?

Hello there =]. Okay, I'll go in order from the top. The first one, though I like, I think you should crop down a little bit, a little off the top. And then, just go WHAM! Sharpen the color, bring the green out. haha =]. It'll make the photo really pop. As for the second one, which was my favorite, I see nothing wrong with it. The coloring is nice and its an interesting piece in general. As for the three on the bottom, I'd have to say I like the one in the middle the best, the one on the right would be nice if you had a light version on the left to compliment it, then it would be a really good sequence all together. overall, very nicely done =]

Love it!!!!! ('Course I do, they're all me) The last one looks a little strange though, my face looks kinda distorted . . .
What a shame,

Excellent work, Kittengirl! The first was good: nice colors, perfect focus, non-clichéd subject matter; all that jazz. Bottom line: it was good. Not great, but good.
I must say the the second was my favorite, and this one was great. :D It was too dark, though, either lighten it up or crop it, as tydecker suggested. It has a strange, mystical feel to it, as though you were trying to compare the dark mass of the trees to the small lightness of the girl.
The third batch wasn't so easy to judge, but the one on the right is far too dark; I could see that immediately. The first two look as though there's no difference except for the flowers. (Kudos on the digital work, by the way) so I'll have to say that the middle one looks better. I'm not sure why, but I think my opinion would change if I wasn't viewing them stuck gum-tight together.
Anyway, keep snapping pictures, you're doing mucho bien!
Jenth out.

P.S. Were all the flowers digital? Not the ones in the grass, obviously; I'm taking about the hair-flowers.

Hi Kittengirl,

These are wonderful, really. Not perfect, but they definitely show promise. Each photo seems to say something, which is refreshing to see. I'll give you a quick rundown on each individual shot, if that's alright with you.

The first picture, I must admit, is not my favorite. There seems to be too much empty space around the girl, and while the colors are nice, I felt that a different angle could help improve the image. Perhaps a close-up rather than a full body shot would work? Just a suggestion. I do like how the girl isn't centered in the photograph, and again, the colors aren't washed out which really helps.

The second picture is my favorite. The top half of the image is a little dark, but I love the way it seems as though the girl is standing in a patch of light. It's an interesting effect, intentional or not. The flowers in her hair are also a nice touch that help the whole image pop, and they really help to catch your attention and hold it. My only complaint would be to have the girl relax more - as it is, she looks stiff too posed. Besides that though, wonderful image.

The third picture is interesting. The repetition is eye-catching. Out of the three pictures within this one, I must say I like the first two the best. The flowers in the first, again, catch the eye. The second just looks more natural - like a candid shot rather than a posed one. I'm not sure why, but the third image just doesn't strike me as all that interesting, despite being nearly the same as the other two. Perhaps it's the darkness of the girl's clothes?

I hope this has been helpful! Let me know if you ever post any other photographs!
