So, I somehow have a few pastel pieces that aren't even on the internet...somehow. They're a year old or so, but I thought somebody might like to see them. Tell me what you think, eh?

Here is a manga girl...she's supposedly lying on carpet and she has white light ballerinas in her eyes. What? ...It was a gift for a dancer girl I know...

And here is a freaky, multi-tailed angelic thing with a few pairs of wings and what would appear to be some sort of solider uniform on:

Hello there =]. First off, THANK YOU, for saying what media you used, that helped with a looot of things. Now on to the actual review. So, the first one, wasn't really my thing. But I thought the second one was lovely. It was actually really really good. So keep it up =]

Hi! First I would like to comment on the manga girl since it's what I do mostly.
The face: I would advice you to shorten the face of the girl. It's either too long that I can't see the chin or you haven't made the bottom part of the face. You don't need to put much emphasis on the blush. Just a few diagnal lines are enough.
The nose: In manga style, you don't need to draw the full length nose. You can just put a dot or a tiny line which would be enough.
The lips: Here you don't need to make the lips so wide. Just a thin black line is needed. In manga, you have to focus on making it look 2-D instead of real life. Even if you're planning to color the lips, the don't need to be that wide.

The good things about your drawing #1:
I like your attempt on the eyes. Nice choice of colors. The lips are very well colored too. And I love the shine in the hair. I can detect the hair strands. I think the hair is what looks best here. (I can't make my drawings shine like that. I can never get them to shine. =P) You've obviously done a good job there.

For the second drawing I would say that the proportions are a bit off here and there. Again, the coloring is what makes the angelic creature stand out. (Aren't angels supposed to be white? I guess this is your imagination. Neat! :)) I like the soldier shirt. He looks like a friendly person. And he seems to have three tails! Awesome! Girl you have some wild imagination! :) :)
The wings are new to me. I've never seen wings like these before. They must be your original. Hehe lolz. I like the shades you've given here. You should go deeper into realistic drawings. You seem to do well in it. I like the background shades a lot! How did you manage to do that? Which pastels did you use? I'm curious! =P
You can wish for death... but you can't wish it away

i like that the title of dr jekyll and mr hyde makes a clear stance that the embodiment of one’s own evil doesn’t get a claim to the doctorate
