INSPIRED BY BEHINDTHEMASK AND HER AWESOME RANDOM COMMENTS

I'm walking around,
feeling so uncomfortable.
Just wishing these jeans
were a little adjustable.

I got another wedgie,
And I can't pull it out.
I bent over forwards,
No I won't live that down.

I don't wanna wear my pants anymore,
I don't wanna wear my pants anymore!
So I guess I'll just take 'em off and throw 'em on the floor
'Cuz I ain't gonna wear my pants anymore.

Lemme tell ya something,
Life just ain't right
If you can't walk around
Because your pants are too tight.

I'll strut down the street,
Feel the wind on my thighs.
I'll finally be free,
And I'll look to the skies
And scream

I'm not gonna wear my pants anymore,
I'm not gonna wear my pants anymore!
So I just went and took 'em off and left 'em on the floor,
'Cuz I don't wanna wear my pants anymore!!!

This is so hilarious! Just one question: do you really feel like that or is just boredom at its best, or worst, whichever the case? Anyway, I loved it. It's so funny and I didn't find any grammatical errors in it. AWESOME!!!! Happy writing!

I won't lie, i was laughing throughout this entire poem. It's really refreshing to read a poem like this, where it's not all superdramatic. I really liked how lighthearted it was but still pertained to real life. This is a great bit of literature. Here's to 'taking our pants off'. :)

Ha! Finally a bit of poetry that's humorous. This made me smile and for once I'm not all depressed when reading a poem. Thanks.

Oh good gracious. That is socially O.o hilarious! (If you know what I mean.)

I got another wedgie,
And I can't pull it out.
I bent over forwards,
No I won't live that down.

Shouldn't that be "I've" instead of "I" and "Now" instead of "No"? (These are just word choice preferences, though.)

I so agree with all almost all of this. Pants should fit you perfectly! Wedgies are uncomfortable and I wish I could get at them without being all awkward! >;[ (I usually slink off to a corner to tug discreetly and hope no one sees. XP And yeah, I know, tmi. But. This poem. So.)

The flow is a bit off---rewording might help that.

But on the whole, I just don't care. This poem is fun and you don't have to change anything to make people laugh. So ha! *throws rule-following side out the window*

So. What to say to reach 1,000. ;}

I like how you just had fun with this. (Attribute your lack of lengthy reviews to the fact that it makes people laugh. XD) Good job! And yay! Happy poem! Seems like a good time this week--I posted something happy too! I don't usually write happy things, angst is just more likely to spawn poems, somehow. I guess cuz happiness makes people all jumpy.

Hooray Bamboozle! (That part I just felt like saying. And I need to end this somehow. And I wish review day would get here.)

And THAT is the exact reason that I refuse to wear skiny jeans (haha my pants were so bad that I lost feeling in my calves). Lets just say that mine are at the mercy of my scizers. Long story short, I loved it and I laughed the entire way. Good to know that SOMEONE feels my pain!

haha welldone:)
I loved it, thought I did have to re-read the bit about bending over forward as I didnt know what you ment. Maybe changing the words there to what animekaratepup suggested may make it clearer to read, but really it doesnt matter all that much because it was great all the same. A very light-hearted peom which I enjoyed.
ps. hippys wear long skirts for a reason my friend;)

Hello there! :D When I first read the title, I misread it and thought it was 'I Don't Wanna Hear My Pants Anymore!' XD

Nitpicks:

I bent over forwards,
No I won't live that down.

- I don't get why it's a comma after 'forwards'.
- Put a comma after 'No'.

I don't wanna wear my pants anymore,
I don't wanna wear my pants anymore!

- I like the repetition here. :)

So I guess I'll just take 'em off and throw 'em on the floor
'Cuz I ain't gonna wear my pants anymore.

- xD Hilarious!

And scream

- I think there should at least be a comma or a colon after 'scream'.

I'm not gonna wear my pants anymore,
I'm not gonna wear my pants anymore!
So I just went and took 'em off and left 'em on the floor,
'Cuz I don't wanna wear my pants anymore!!!

- Ooh. Repeating this whole verse made it seem like a chorus. xD :)

- - - - - - -

This is a really hilarious poem! xD :D No wonder this is featured. :) It's really entertaining to read. And the title is really catchy. xD I love how the persona 'expresses' himself/herself. Also, the rhyming and repetitions really work well. Nice job! :D

Never stop writing! :D

This is completely amazing and hilarious. I think it's written pretty well too.

Here is an issues that I think would make more sense.

No, I won't live that down.

I think a comma after no would make more sense.

I got another wedgie,
And I can't pull it out.
I bent over forwards,
No I won't live that down.

Completely hillarious!!

Over all, really awesome.

This was great! Really! I know it's been mentioned many times before, but seriously. Pure ingenuity! Seriously. I'm serious. (Not really.) By the way, do you really feel that way? Or just bored???

"I ain't gonna work on Maggie's farm no more
No, I aint gonna work on Maggie's farm no more
Well, I wake up in the morning
Fold my hands and pray for rain
I got a head full of ideas
That are drivin' me insane
It's a shame the way she makes me scrub the floor
I ain't gonna work on Maggie's farm no more."

I thought your poem sounded like something...

I'm not saying it is plagirized, it's a great poem, and I like it a lot, but basically take off lines 3-6 of Dylan's song, and we have your poem...

the stanzas immediately before the refrain are wonderful, and it is interesting how you basically have the same idea as 'ole Bob, about not putting up with something...

anyway, please don't take my review the wrong way, your poem just got me singing, and that is a good thing...

happy 70th birthday BOB DYLAN!

I liked your poem :)
"This is our decision,
to live fast and die young...
Yeah it's overwhelming,
but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and
wake up for the morning commute?

The models will have children,
we'll get a divorce,
find some more models;
everything must run its course!

Pants off to you, it was wonderful! (:
