If the rivers freeze,
Will you stay with me?
I need your sweet, forgiving heart,
for my own is tart.
Your long, graceful hands,
For mine are rough and scared.
your soft, curly hair,
For mine is straight and dark.
You complete me,
And destroy me at the same way!
Your soft brown eyes,
Look at me through long, dark lashes,
Meeting my cold and hard ones,
Crushing me to pieces…
