Hiya, by the way. This site is lovely. Why exactly is it called the Young Writers Society if the 'Edit Profile' page allows you to go all the way up there to 1911?

(And what about all of those 101-year-old writers? What, the site discourages people born in 1910? Shame on you!)

I don't really care what you call me, so yay for that. I certainly wouldn't want to type Liveinthelight constantly, so feel free to shorten that in any way possible. Or don't.

Grr, I'm rambling now. ANYWAYS. I'm fifteen (almost driving age, beware) and a terrible writer (no matter how much I would like to think otherwise D:<) but I suppose that's why I'm here, isn't it? I'm here to improve, and I'm jumping around the room and flailing because I'm so excited right now.

We're all ultra friendly here and if you find someone who isn't-then their are lovely people called moderators who can help you. They are the people in green, orange or red mainly.

You can post anything you'll ever dream of so no fear!

To post something, you must have points. To earn points you must review, to review you must... know how. To know how... you just comment on their work giving them pros and cons of their work.

ALSO. The age thing is a long story... you see, we had some redwood trees that wanted to join... and they were born in 1911. Anyway, they were all like, "We're young... let us join!" At first we didn't believe them, but then we started looking up their information and... well... let's just say that their bark matched their bark. Literally. So, if you see some strange writing by someone who is 101, just be aware that you're reading writing from a TREE. How awesome is that?!!?!

Also... you're not scary YET. But, once you start driving... well... let's say things start to change then.
