Anberlin is one of my favorite alternative bands. They got too "poppy" on their newest album though. Even though you told me Alesana did not count as heavy metal or rock, they are becoming one of my favorite bands. Journey is still my all time favorite.

The song does contain a fair bit of language and some unpleasant lyrics, it's not as bad as some of their other songs, but still)

The breakdown in the second song you posted almost made me cry. It was higher pitched than anything in the metalcore scene I've ever heard.

Oh, Rammstein <3 I'm quite fond of Eisbrecher too; there's something about the Neue Deutsche Härte that just takes me to my happy place. I think a great deal of it is just the language, I have such a soft spot for German.

Kyo has a pretty amazing voice :D here's some more Dir en Grey! While I adore most of theirs songs, this one has a little bit in the middle that always makes me sigh like a love-stuck school girl, it's such a contrast from the rest of the song and gives me such warm fuzzies.
